I am a republican, and though I don't agree with all of Bush's decisions, I think he catches a bad rap. Honestly could a Democrat have done any better givin the circumstances? And do you think, that after 9-11, if Bush had taken no action, he be in the same place? Still being criticized?

I will 'thumbs up" everyone who answers with just one fact. DO NOT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT A POLITICAL PARTY, nor the President, members of congress, etc.! This is not a democrat or republican issue.

Just tell me about the best of who we are.

From the premise that the capital class controls the State politically , lenin theorized that finance-capital , the dominant form of capital , used the state machinery to colonize the periphery . In the periphery , capitalists would use oppressed peripheral labor to produce primary commodities and raw materials cheaply : create an affluent strata to consume expensive commodities imported from the core ,and undermine indigenous industry , making the colonies dependent on the core investment .

Does this sound faintly familiar with the Reagan, Bush , Bush programs of american jobs going abroad done by cheaper labor in foreign markets in which they replace the local businesses making the people dependent on the continued growth of these new corporations . Lenin and the republicans have a lot in common .

For the ignorant republicans who know not what they read here lenin was Vladimir Ulyanov First leader of the soviet union and the man who orchestrated the October revolution .

It's amazing how many accounts of voter fraud we heard of in the '04 election, but apparently ALL of that voter fraud disappeared in the '06 election! What a great turnaround!!

Or maybe, was it that the Democrats were simply sore losers? Naaah...

Conservatives - let me know if I should not be so enthused by his stances. He seems to be Newt without the political black eye and Huckabee with more name recognition. I was getting anxious that our front runners weren't Reaganesque enough for me.

My only concern is how little I know about him which bring me to part two of my question:

Liberals, since it's what you do best, give me the worst dirt you have on the guy. Yes, I'm sincerely asking you! I don't want the issues, we won't agree on them anyway. I want whatever scandalous, immoral, character flawed informatin you can provide. As far as I know, he's squeeky clean, but I don't know much.

(i have been to other branches of military bases before so i know its not just air force) i'm not saying all air force wives, but many that i've seen

apologize to conservatives for?

To start, I have a few ideas

1. Pushing acceptance of homosexuality on the public by constantly showing it on tv shows: Will & Grace, Amazing Race All-Stars (at least 2 teams that have gays), the home shows on Discovery, H&G, etc.

2. By perverting movies and tv shows with anti-Republican and Christian opinions.

3. By constantly calling conservatives names. See Answers liberals.

These points are only for thought. I am looking for a list from my conservative brothers. Please be specific.

America's leading sub-prime lender is in bankruptcy and others are not far behind.
Sub-prime lenders provide variable rate mortgages to people who wouldn't otherwise qualify for a home loan. These loans account for 20% of the homes sold in the already troubled housing market.
With rising interest rates, the default rate on existing home loans have skyrocketed, which has left the sub-prime lenders holding the bag. As a result, the bottom will literally fall out of the housing market this year.
Will the combination of increasing energy prices and a falling housing market lead us into recession? Or, is our economy strong enough to absorb the loss?
