It seems our military is already streched too thin for such an occurance to be possible.

dont think it will happen. for one reasons only... china gets thier energy from iran. china has already leaned on us for this. remember the stock market about a week or so ago?? china only sold a 9% investment in our country and our stock market's foundation shook!!!! so think back why did japan attack pearl harbor? we cut off thier energy (oil)
so i think that if we invade iran, china will sell thier investments they have in america, shoot all of our communication satallites out of space (we all know they can now) we would then pay around $7.00 a gal of gas. im not sure america can afford this kinda war. think out of the box here. i think iran would halt the sales of thier oil to all countries just to get them involved. wouldnt you??
so lets go get them!!! they have rags on thier heads and i watch fox news. i just dont feel complete without hating somebody. oh yeah the guy with the mullet is the best!!!!

Hopefully the supposition behind your question is incorrect.
The situation in Iraq should be getting everyone to come together. Just like the USA the real problem with Iran is the president who is an uneducated bum.

The sooner we attack them the better.
We don't necessarily need to do it with ground troops. I'd like to see what we could do with pure EMP blanketing the entire country. Just send em back to the middle ages where ahmaweeniejob wants to be anyway.

They won't. Sadly there is no more troops to send there and why should Iran be attacked? Why not talk to people instead of attacking or fighting?

Not enought troops to do it so very unlikely that it would happen. Maybe a good dose of US bombing but never a ground invasion.
