I made a deposit in October 2006 for my child to start at a Montessori school in Sept 2007. In Jan 2007, we changed our minds, and asked for a refund of the last month's tuition (I don't mind forfeiting the registration fee). The contract says that both the registration and last month's deposit are non-Refundable. I signed the contract. I have written a letter demanding refund of the tuition deposit on the grounds that they can offer the place to someone else and they have not offered any service in exchange for my deposit. I am also threatening them with legal action through small claims court. Do I have a case?

Europe has spent it's entire existence fighting each other, Hitler, Stalin and the like. Africa is starving, these people have known nothing but war and they preach to us about war.

America is a White Stallion Standing on top of the Rocky Mountains on his hind leggs.

Here is my list:

#1. The Untied States of America...God has blessed us!!
2. Canada

Your car window was smashed and your stuff stolen.
One of the things stolen is a cell phone.
You work for the Cell phone company and through new techknowlegy you find out who stole your stuff.
The police won't do anything because "There is no proof"

What would you do?

I am a proud liberal and not afraid to say it.
However, that doesnt mean I go along with all the liberal views.
I am anti-abortion for one thing, yet I don't think it should be banned (just restricted). And I don't believe we should raise kids without dicipline and teaching them right from wrong.
I am not for gay marrage, though a civil union would be fine by me.
In other words...I am an individual...not just a liberal.
I think...therefore I am a liberal AND an individual.
And maybe...just maybe...there are conservatives that think for themselves too.

Thank You, and no liberal US bashers please we all know your hate republicans, your country, and freedom so please let only the conservatives chime in on this one.

Hi, I am going to be starting a new foundation in the next month or so. To make my foundation bigger and better, I need one rep (volunteer group) in as many states as possible.

The foundation is going to be used to raise money for many different causes. From donating them to cancer research groups, charities, schools/colleges, and many other groups.

The reps will also be compensated for helping us by recieving a percentage of the money earned by them each month. So in return, we are helping another volunteer group raise money too.

The only problem is that I am having trouble finding and locating help. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks!

1) Do you consider yourself a 'paleo-conservative', or do you consider yourself a 'neo-conservative'? And why?

2) From which sources do you get your news and other relevant info?

3) Have you heard of presidential candidate Ron Paul (R)?

4) Would you vote for for him? Why / why not? And if not, then who else would you rather vote for, and why?

5) What is your view on the 'paleo-conservative' vs. the 'neo-conservative' agenda? Do you feel that you have much in common with the other branch?

What will it look like? I mean, will attacking Iran further complicate Russia's role, as a weapons supplier, and will somehow get involved directly? And now with China's stance as a supporter of the USSR, could there be a greater chance than ever for a giant conflict to take place?

If I made a petition for a new law to go into effect would you sign this. It would state that a driver pulled over with no proof of insurance will have their car towed and can only pick it up if they show proof of insurance as well as the payment. By the 3rd time the police has the right to impound your car and sell it at an auction? What do you think? Any suggestions? Feedback?

why do liberals support a group that support hamas and hezbollah, and the existence of the horribly inefficient IRS? everyone knows already that CAIR's agenda is to make islam the official religion of america and to set up a dhimmi system. the IRS is horribly corrupt, and a quarter of our taxes are taken just to fund its operation. liberals are so open-hearted and naive to this organisation, and use bush as an additional excuse to accept it, and support a tax bureaucracy that has close ties with politicians. of course, to liberals, liberal politicians are the equivalent of a messiah.

On NPR yesterday they were talking about Halliburton's move to the Middle East. Those interviewed said that it was most likely an attempt to APPEAR more global, since a large part of it's income is from the global market. The fact is that it is still an American Company, subject to all American Laws no matter where it's headquarters are located at this time. And it's subsidiary that handles the defense contracts is nearly, and is trying to become, an independent corporation. With that in mind.. how do you feel about the move?

Does he have an aide that smacks him with a bat between the eyes...just before going on camera? Is that legal? Why does the Secret Service allow it?

To me, he looks like Alfred E. Neuman on Prozac. When he stands in front of those perfect flags, and the repeated typeset background...I shudder to think what other nations think of us.

Don't get me wrong...I'm glad he's our President...coz every time I see that look...I hear my very favorite song..."Comfortably Numb"
