i am the one that has the friend that has the daughter that robbed a business. she testified against her boyfriend last thursday. there was no bargain for her. she said she was guility before she even got an attorney. she wanted to confess. i guess she thought they would go easier on her. i live in pennsylvania. what will happen to her? it was armed robbery but it was a BB gun. they blew all the money on stupid stuff. the boyfriend has been held over for trial. he is out on bond right now. i feel she should have jail time. it may do her some good. her mother has done everything she can to get her on the right track. boys & drugs control her daughter's life. maybe in prison she can get help. where can i look to see what will happen in my state?

there is no where you can look that will accurately be able to tell you what might happen.

this is because it is all up to the individual judge that hears her case.

if she is in therapy and the judge is a believer in rehabilitation, then they might go easy on her.

if not, she may do some time, though that would depend on if she has any kind of record.

either way, it sounds like she will have to deal with having a felony conviction on her record.

in future years, you may find that to be the worst aspect of all fo this.

i would also suggest that she needs to get to the bottom of this. if she really was involved in the robbery, then she has real issues that need to be understood and overcome if she is ever to have a normal life.

Probably will wind up with some jail time but not that much. During robberies everyone participating shares some responsibility but the important thing is they didn't kill anyone.

your best bet is to contact your state's attorney general's office. They won't be able to give you legal advice, but may be able to answer your questions, or you can contact the prosecuting attorney in this case.

Either wa, what ever happens will ultimately be up to the judge.

she did the crime! and now must do the time! maybe it will get her straightened out! if she gets away without jail time, she will just find a new boyfriend to do drugs with and then it just gets worse! JAIL IS WHERE SHE BELONGS! you will have to try to contact the judiciai system. perhaps there is website that will help!
