He's not asking for anything in return. We could ask the Democrats to get behind this effort or get rid of them either way, that's what we could do for him.

Okay, I'm a strong Republican and all this Bush bashing is just embarrasing, immature, and disgraceful. On the other hand, our actions should have nothing to do with the President, because the real issue is our freedoms.
The War on Terror was long overdue and we paid the price for waiting too long, but foreign subsidies (like our free Iraqi aid) distracts from that war and wastes our resources. People don't like the War in Iraq, because President Bush messed up with the political aftermath, not because the war was a bad idea.
My answer is that Americans should do nothing to "support the President" (lest he rule as a tyrant) but everything to support their own freedoms and strengthen their own voices as a democracy. They should seriously consider his bold stand for our liberties on many fronts, especially his warning to us concerning our foreign oil dependence.

that isn't knowable. how many terror plots have been foiled because of the fact the war started? maximum of them we are by no skill advised of, because it might reason a panic. how many circumstances have we killed a terrorist previously he could desire to break somebody? we've a call; we are able to combat the war against terror incredibly plenty as we at the instant are, or we are able to stick our heads interior the sand and need they don't get into the rustic. Why have we no longer gotten Ben weighted down? in my view, i think of we did at Tora Bora, yet we've not got a physique so we don't recognize for useful. that's a rugged, mountainous section crammed with human beings sympathetic to his reason, that's why we've not merely "long gone in and gotten him". Killing people who opt for to kill us could make enemies, yet i think of it additionally makes those enemies understand that they won't be able to attack us devoid of retribution. That replaced right into a considerable reason this undertaking with terrorism has festered when you consider that 1979. We continually replied with diplomatic outrage and not a mailed fist to the jaw. properly, we are utilising the mailed fist now. How might you negotiate with those human beings? they opt for us lifeless, Israel destroyed, and the US switched over to Islam and decrease than shria regulation. they are prepared to die and take as many human beings with them as they could to make that ensue. they have no undertaking concentrated on civilians and young infants. how many civilian deaths would be needed in negotiations with them? What you seem advocating isn't peace, it rather is the absence of war. they are not the comparable ingredient. And jointly as I agree that renewable potential is an answer, that's merely portion of the whole answer. We additionally could desire to quit those human beings lifeless, actually. we could desire to alter the Islamic fundimentalist/ One Islamic international mindset at its source interior the Muslim community. And and we could desire to tutor states that harbor and help terrorists that they are going to be held responsible.

Dubya is saving America with the War on Terror the same way that Albert Pujols is saving the art of pitching.
A fitting analogy, since the owners of Pujols' St. Louis Cardinals are right-wing fanatics who donate heavily to his immoral party.
I'd have said Barry Bonds, but Bonds comes by his home-run totals in an immoral fashion... wait a minute...

Haha. Yes, I'm sure that if it wasn't for George W. Bush you would all be speaking Iraqi right now.
Give me a break, America. You're a big bully who just makes up poor excuses to invade smaller countries. Sometimes you sell them weapons, and then you use those same weapons as an excuse to invade. Other times, you instate tyrants, and then use the tyrant as an excuse. Another thing you like to do, is to sink your own ships and attack your own people, and then use that as an excuse by blaming it on someone else.
You are best described as Moe from 'Calvin and Hobbes'. Always looking for a fight.

The war on terror? he's too busy with the war in Iraq to go chase down terrorists and destroy their training facilities and infrastructure. Maybe when we leave Iraq our troops can get going on the war on terror. GWB himself has stated that there are terrorists crossing into Iraq everyday. If they are coming into Iraq then they must live elsewhere. No war was ever won by waiting for the enemy to come to you, we must take the battle to them.

Ask not what your country can do for you
but what you can do for your country !!
I like that .
I think verbal, public support would help for the President and our Troops . People sometimes say that showing support accomplishes nothing . WRONG . As proven in the sporting world, crowd approval and cheering DO affect the outcomes . It builds confidence for your team, the troops, and discourages the other team, Radical Islamists !!!!!!!
