Yet many use it. If it was true that we would fight them "There" to prevent from fighting "Here", then how can one explain the many "Terrorist" scares that have happened since the war on terror started, scares that did not happen "There" were we are suppose to be fighting them?

Halliburton has been doing more than rebuilding Iraq for the past few years.
Now, their corportate offices and CEO's going to the Middle East proves they are disgraceful.

If they declare bankruptcy and they probably will then what do you do? It would seem impossible to ever get any money from them.

How does this work. If blacks are the largest minority right now, but soon to be out numbered by hispanics does this make the hispanics closer to being a "non-minority"? Also, if you have several minoritys including black, hispanic and asian and asian is the lowest minority, does this give asain's more rights?

This video is not an alternative theory to the official story. All it is is a documentary on the families who lost someone on 9/11/2001. I recommend it to everyone. Just go to google video and type in "911 press for truth".

The families have a right to know what happened that day. They submitted an X amount of questions and about the 30% were answered to their satisfaction.

Can anyone name an instance where the party you support has been completely hypocritical? I can. Right now, Congress is making a big deal out of the 8 US attorneys that were fired by Bush, but when Clinton took office, he fired all of the US attorneys, not just 8.

I know it was an objective discussed long before we declared 'the war on terror". I feel they tied it in with 9-11 to gain the support they needed. There may have been a legitimate reason it should have been done, his ties to terrorism are not established to my knowledge. He had biological weapons at one point, and was gaining nuclear power until Isreal knocked out the plant, I think in the late 80's . It doesn't seem he was an immediate threat to our country,I would have felt better if they had spent the billions on border security, disaster preporations, and intelligence gathering. I don't think our governments past or present administrations are idiots, I do think they keep a lot from the common people- who they feel don't have enough interest, knowledge,, education, and intelligence to just be told the facts and make good decisions. So is there an uncommon person on yahoo answers who has the time and knowledge to explain to me why was it important that we get rid of Saddam?

I'm not talking about Iraq at the moment.. but terrorism in general... our military is VERY effective at large scale combat.. but they are not, in my opinion, set up or trained for small scale terrorist attacks and gorilla warfare. it's like trying to do microsurgery with a broadsword. what are your thought on the subject?

I understand people who deal with murders and gang bangers and actually get shot at, have a reason. But why are small town cops always thinking they are all powerful. Are they rude from the amount of speeding tickets they have to write?

Please, all you folks who buy into the PC stuff about how it's not all Muslims and it's really a nice religion that is given a bad name by a few bad apples, can you do me this one favor:

Google "Sura 8.12"

Google "Gurayza"

OK that's two favors but please open your minds up - these are not nice people.

Can someone explain the rationale to me about this one.
Let's say a guy commits a crime, spends time in prison and is released on probation.
Then some are disenfranchised from voting in elections.
I thought voting was a right, not a privilege.
I can understand revoking drivers licenses, etc., but what purpose does this really serve?
It should instill some social responsibility by forcing these individuals to vote, if it could in fact be done.
