Domestic violence of course! People should stop beating each other! I would rather see them smoking, than hurting another person. Remember that smoking is a voluntary act, but getting the crap beaten out of you, because someone else is mad, for whatever reason, isn't.

Domestic violence. Tobacco is at least a choice on the part of the person most affected. Victims of domestic violence often have no choice.

These are our only two choice?
Or do you mean between the two?
Domestic violence -- no doubt about it.
Smoking is something people do to themselves.
Domestic violence is done to people.
And the harm is greater, when you add the psychological harm done to all in these situations -- the little 'uns, especially, can be severely messed up in their heads for life.
Smoking may be dumb, but now that smokers can't smoke around others, it harms themselves. (That is, can't expose non-smokers to prolonged exposure to smoke.)
Domestic violence is WRONG.

um both and possibly the marijuana laws, the money they waste on a failed campaign that will never succeed, can be put towards other things, such as more funding for d.s.s for the domestic issues, mroe centers to place children when parents are seperated, money for health organization, and pretty much funding for the financial side of both of these issues

There is not a need to pick and choose. In a well-run government, the legislators are given the opportunity to examine all issues.
Ours is not a well-run government at the moment.
