And I never said I was Christian but Islamists murder more people in the name of Islam every year than died in the entire Inquisition. One has a history of violence that even at its height was smaller in scale and has long since subsided and at all times went AGAINST the teachings of its founder - the other was founded by a mass-murderer and commits violence on a scale several orders of magnitude greater than that of any other religion or popular movement.

Hate only breeds hate. Why waste your energy on such an endeavors. Learning patience and tolerance will be a better exercise for your time. Ignoring your own short comings will only leave you open to be manipulated. Let go of the emotion. Grow as a human being go beyond what is expected of you.

whether or not you hate is up to you.
even in the world's worst dictatorship, you are free to hate.
i would only caution you that hate is every bit as consuming as love is and should be reserved for important relationships - just like love is.
as for ALL muslims being bad and worthy of hatred, i know for a fact that this is not true or even logical.
a friend of mine is not from an arab nation but is muslim. he is digusted by terrorists and speaks to me of the divisions within his own mosque (arab vs non-arab).
he is a normal guy with normal attitudes and is also an american.
to simply say that you hate everyone because of their religion is not logical or rational.
but then again, neither is hate...

Citing your example (Sura 8.12) didn't the Christian God say similar things about people worshiping false gods? I have a one word argument against the point you're trying to make....CRUSADES!
Religion, in the hands of zealots, is never very nice or forgiving.
I think Buddhists go it right, though.

my brother-in-law.. a Muslim from Pakistan.. is one of the greatest people I have known in my life.. he is a wonderful human being.. I also have 2 Muslim friends from Jordan that are good people, and one friend from Lebanon... so there's 4 good to your 2 bad... so can I call them 2/3 good? :)

IMO, we can all take a strong stand against those Muslims who would destroy non-Muslims, without hate. I believe we can make every effort to destroy them first without engaging in hate, rather embrace being realistic.
