I'm so tired of either party playing to the polls of that day or week. A month ago there was no calls for or even talk of an air travelers bill of rights yet nature happens & suddenly their is a rush to pass it. Theres no mention of a military bill of rights but suddenly there is. There's no mention of increasing the military's pay but Congress for like the last 14 years always approved a salary increase which all of them already make more then enough to survive yet the military struggles & when necassary risks much more. This goes to both parties but I've noticed it alot more from the democrats especially since Kerry & of course Clinton. Congress started off not getting paid for their services let along keeping their pensions even when they commit crimes. It's not fair they can keep their pensions for crimes & get raises yet the military cant get fair wares. Police start at like $35k, the military is like $20k if that. I say switch let congress live off military pay. Sound fair? Yup.

Vice Pres. Dick Chaney (is that how you spell that mans name?) shoots someone in the face and NOTHING happens to him. But former Pres. Bill Clinton shoots a woman in the face----*winkwink*----and the state wanted to shove him out of the White House!! I don't get it....

There are a ton of liberals that give subtle death threats towards the president, such as saying he should be hanged for war crimes, could be assassinated if he continues with his ways, etc. Isn't this a bit sick and morbid by liberals? I don't recall conservatives saying that Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton should be murdered or hanged. It is a shame when some of my fellow countrymen disgust me, but it is true.

Following November 7, Bush promised bipartisan co-operation on developing a new policy in Iraq. He has broken that promise (among others).

The right-wing (and Bush) mad it clear: he is the "decider" and they--and he--have every intention of ignoring Congress and the expressed will of the American people. The--and Bush--sneered at the idea that Congress--or the American people--could do anything to stop them.

BUT--there's one small flaw in their theory: the Bush administration is corrupt. We've already seen what that implies. Abuse of our veterans has led to a cleaning-out of part of the political proteges of the right-wing in the military. Today the assistant Attorney General was forced to resign--and the Attorney General and Director fo the FBI may well be next.

Is this an 800-pound gorilla? How long can Bush pretend to be "the decider" when decent Americans--Republican and Democrat--have an endless series of scandals and corruption to uncover and so constrain Bush?
