It depends upon the size of the blade, the regulations are different from province to province. In Ontario I believe it is illegal to carry a blade larger than about 15 cm. So while a standard pocket knife is perfectly legal, a larger blade would not be.

I beleive the cut off length is 6". If it's not a pocket knife and you have it concealled it can be considered a concealled weapon. If you live in the bush/country you can use machetes and crap like that just don't take it for a walk downtown.

It depends on where you are in canada. Most of the time it's legal to carry a pocket knife

a concealed weapon in not allowed in Canada. Even if someone has a firearms license they cannot carry it in a holster, they have to store it in a container, even knifes are not allowed to be carried.

less than six inches is allowed in most provinces...any more than six inches is considered a concealed wpn
