I fell for that one day when I was bored at work (I worked for Wells Fargo at the time).
I went through all of the surveys, and on the last one, my computer crashed.
They are designed for people not to finish them. When I attempted to call the "customer service" number, naturally it was an unanswered, filled voice mail.

You can sue someone for parting their hair the wrong way. Question is, can you win such a suit. In a word, not likely. Save your money. Just don't respond to those "offers".

You can try.
First, you'd need to find where the sender lives, and then get a court to recogize they have jurisdiction over that person.
Then you would need to prove actual damages.
But see US federal CAN-SPAM laws, which sets limits on such lawsuits.

No, you can not sue. There is always a fine print somewhere. That we won't know.. There are not stupid companies, there is just stupid people that lick on it, that believe its free. There is nothing free in this world, just your life!!!

The person you would end up suing probably wouldn't have a pot to p iss in or a window to throw it out of.

You are what makes things tougher for REAL VICTIMS to sue for their pain and suffering. People that are in car accidents have to wait up to ten years ,just for a settlement or a trial. Thanks to people that want to sue because their emotions were hurt. Thanks.
