By and large, they oppose terrorism.
Most just think that it would be more efficient to actually go after the terrorists, rather than spending hundreds of billions of dollars policing a civil war or engaging in nation-building exercises.

Historically, the Democrats' position on terrorism is very similar to that of the Republicans - namely, to employ terrorists and terrorist states whenever it serves the goals of the United States, then, to decry and demonize their former allies when they are no longer useful.
The foreign policy of the US is like that of other empires throughout history, acting in its own self interest in the short term without consideration for future implications.
Both Democratic and Republican administrations have consistently supported some pretty brutal dictators, military juntas, government sponsored death squads and yes, Islamic fundamentalists.
If anyone, from either party, actually cared about fighting terrorism, they would have to put human rights and justice at the forefront of our foreign policy. Instead, the focus of our foreign policy is to maintain a steady flow of cheap consumer goods and the low wage labor markets that produce them.
No one takes our rhetoric about "freedom and democracy" seriously, because of the oppressive governments we continue to support.

Terrorism is just a tactic. Your question doesn't make much sense. Do you mean what are their positions on Radical Islam? You need to be clearer.

I honestly couldn't say what the democratic position is. But, since I'm an undeclared liberal who is generous with my opinions I'll tell you mine. I think we need to find legal, nonviolent ways to neutralize the most violent, powerful terrorists, starting with G.W. Bush.

Their policy is to raise taxes to build a ton of mosques, convert everyone to Islam, then pray to Allah for our safety.
