I'm just a young girl minding my own business. The new rules of random stop and search in subways and buses...is this necessary?

The subway has thousands of entrances that terrorists can get thru with no detection. Does Bush think manning only the busy entrances is going to stop a terrorist?
Soon the govt will have the right to stop me anytime anywhere to seach my bag for NO APPARENT REASON. I was just WALKING for godsake!
MEANWHILE, MEXICAN AND CANADIAN BORDERS ARE WIDE OPEN!! WHO'S MANNING THE BORDERS?

American soldiers are Killing innocent people in Iraq and Afghanistan and using the words like terrorists and insrugents for freedom fighters. Those freedom fighters don't have strong media serivice to tell the world, In reality Many American soldiers are very poor in ethics.

I want to go and sit in some court rooms and hear some cases. I don't know which ones I can go into. I live in Virginia and know that if it is an open case it is open to the public but how can you tell/know if it is or not and if they change it to a closed case how will I know?

I'm rather confused, and it's one of the only things I don't really know for an upcoming test. Oh, and how would this question be used as a 'math' essay question as well?

i had cts surgery and was on workmans comp for awhile. i have a very physically tough job. after surgery i returned and went through many painful months before it started coming back full blown. i opted for fmla leave for the anxiety depression it caused and didnt return by fmla deadline and was terminated recently. i am still very depressed and having panic and unable to work right now for both reasons. am i eligible for unemployment? if not what other options do i have? have been thinking about checking myself into mental health institute for right now and suing workmans comp for not being able to do my job anymore which was really good and can not do any job im qualified for. i was offered a 10 dollar an hour paycut on noghtshift. i would settle for unemployment to not have to go through the stress of the workmans comp battle as my mental state is bad shape right now. any advice as of what to do?

Bush thought our troops would bring peace to Iraq quickly. Was it wrong for him to have that faith in our troops?

A lot of people on here make it sound that way?

So many important issues are decided by the few that can afford to take time away from work to vote and I have things to do for my family before work and after work. Most people have time on the weekend to do other things and voter turn out would, I am sure, be much better.

My husband is deployed to Afghanistan. He left with the first unit to go over for the deployment. Last month he was going to be home in three days after a year deployment, when the Army decided to extend His brigade 4 months. Then on top of that today I found out they want to send him home with the last group instead of the group he deployed with which means an extra month or two on top of the extention. I want to let people know how crapy the government is treating our soldiers. The other brigade where I am stationed only gets to stay home 10 months before deploying to Iraq again. What can I do to let people know this isn't ok? That soldiers need more time home with their familys? I know that he volunteered to do this, and I wouldn't be so upset if they didn't keep adding on time month after month. I can't keep thinking he will be home soon just to find out he won't be.

I am going to army basic training in June. I tell people that I am going to army and they say I shouldn't. I tell them that (im a senior graduating in may) I can earn bachelor's degree while serving and college courses are much shorter and 100 % free in military.
But then they say army benefits are not as good as it seems.

I know army is not 100% amazing and it's not for everyone either.
But why are these people telling me that I am wasting my time?

I want to ask those who are/have been in the army.
What are some downside of army that might concern other people?
