The message is a modern English paraphrase. But i still like the King James version. There are some web sites that have all the different versions that you can compare.

My preference is the unedited King James version of the bible. just my own personal choice as it hasn't been modified to be less graphic & vivid to satisfy today's fragile sensibilities.
However I am thrilled just to hear of & meet anyone who is interested in learning more about their faith of choice
