Who wouldn't feel safer with a guy at the helm who has literally bankrupted our military? If I had only known that in eight short years our defenses would be this thin I would have learned arabic so I could properly welcome our terrorist overlords when they come into our nation unchallenged.

And W isn't really even the scariest thing. Losing the separation of Church and State is what gives me chills. Forget for a moment that Anne Coulter can call liberals Godless when it's her friend Ted Hagarty (not Democratic candidate John Edwards) who is, well, one of those hateful adjectives that may cause enlightened people to seek therapy if they were to find themselves using it. What really creeps me out is that these theocrats are indirectly running America under this administration.

I'm with the 71% of the country who doesn't believe in King George. The difference between me and Bin Laden is that being against W won't get me any back channel funding from the Bush Administration.

I just rethought your question and my answer. No I do not, nor did I under Clinton and will not regardless of who is elected. Do you want to know why? Every year 45,000 people are killed in car "accidents", that is the equivalent of 2 747 crashes every week (and I'm guessing that you are young, so you are probably twice as likely as me to be involved in such an "accident"). Bush has done nothing to limit the use of cars, nor did Clinton nor will the next President. If it's the President's job to protect us, non of them have been doing a very good job.

I feel more unsafe then ever before. I feel more unsafe then I did during the 9/11 attacks. He is a scary man who has ended life as we once knew it. He is also a very bad President.

I feel safe in our country mostlly because we have a great defense department.

Our president has done a great job keeping the terrorists at bay, too. No terrorist attacks in 5 1/2 years and counting!

I feel many things, but "safe" is not one of them. And, not just in a military sense. I don't feel safe economically either.

I feel fairly safe. I think he is doing a fair job.

I think he made a lot of crucial mistakes and rushed making important decisions.

For a man under severe preassure, I would say he is doing a pretty good job.

I would give him a rating of 60% overall.

Yes I do!!! Emphatically!!!! Alot safer than we would have been with Al Gore!!!! George Bush may not be a great president and I do not agree with all his policies but he is a good person with a good heart and good intentions and morals(unlike our last one) and I challenge anyone here to say they could have done a better job under the circumstances!!!!!
