The Cubans, Mexicans, Venezuelans , Chileans , Argentinian are all coming now or in the past to the United States , mostly for better jobs, schooling for thir children or for poliyical reasons, but why are Puertoricans [40,000] this past year alone, coming in droves to the U.S.A.? Dont the people in PuertoRico say they are happy with the status quo? Why are they departing? What is the difference bewteen them and other Hispanics departures?

leave."
With over 30 million rushing to get here and a mere handfull trying to leave, this must be the best country in the world.
Why are the other countries not trying to copy us?

Puerto Ricans couldn't get Americans out of their country fast enough and they are not grateful for all that the US has done to improve their quality of life, etc. Now that the soldiers are out, they want out too. They bicker among themselves about what bloodlines they have. Found out that bloodlines and race mean diddly in the US plus the opportunities are greater here.
