We sit here and argue all day and night about politics and then we keep re-electing the same crooks over and over. Is it no wonder they don't represent us?

No liberal, by today's standards, has ever won the presidency. Clinton won because he played moderate, spoke well, and took advantage of the anger at Pres Bush. He won in 1992 with less than 50% of the popular vote.

Carter won because of the backlash after Watergate and Pres Ford pardoning Nixon.

Dukakis was a liberal and was blown out against Reagan.
Carter was blown out after showing how liberal he is.

Then today, we have Clinton and Obama, who are clear far left liberals. Blue Dog, conservative Democrats, won out in the last election.

What makes Democrats think they can win? I honestly want to know.

Stand up America! It’s time to support the good men and women of the United States Military! The time is long overdue for a radical protest against the filth and corruption that has infested the United States Government. This is about the lies of 911, the illegal war in Iraq and bringing our troops home to their loved ones. If you are a true American Patriot you will join in and become a part of this wonderful event that is about to take place.

The U.S. antiwar movement and the impeachment movement are becoming entwined, just in time for the March 17 rally at the Pentagon. Here’s the best part! You don’t have to travel all the way to D.C. to perform your Patriotic Duty to America. There will be hundreds of Anti-War protest happening across the Nation. I know that the standards for public officials was established in New York Times v Sullivan, and that there is a different standard that is applied to private individuals in Gertz v Welch. In Gertz we find that ordinary citizens should be allowed more protection from libelous statements than individuals in the public eye. Where does this protection originate in the Constitution?

I don't understand this function called "streql" (it tests if 2 strings are equal, and it returns 1 if they are, and 0 if not...)

Here is the code, in C:

#include

int streql (char *str1, char *str2)
{
while ((*str1 == *str2) && (*str1))
{
str1++;
str2++;
}
return ((*str1 == NULL) && (*str2 == NULL));
}

void main (void)
{
printf("Testing Abc si Abc %d\n", streql("Abc", "Abc"));
printf("Testing abc si Abc %d\n", streql("abc", "Abc"));
printf("Testing abcd si abc %d\n", streql("abcd", "abc"));
}

Can you explain me what is the logic of what is written in the "while", and what is the logic of what is written inside the "return"?

I brought a suit for my husband 2 days ago ,and i brought my mum a coat .The cost of the suit was 120 pounds and the jacket was 50 .The suit was too small ,and mum said the jacket was to tight and needed the size up !!
I went to Marks and spencer and explained that i had lost the receipt ,i understood that i could not get a cash refund as i had no receipt ,but i just wanted to change the size .the boy walked of and came back with the manager who explained in her loudest voice that as i did not have the receipt i was not aloud to change the size or get a credit note ! WHY i asked her !! It was her personal decision as the items were to high value to change with no receipt

I was then looked up and down and told in front of about 10 people that i was not a size 10 ,so why was i bringing in a size 10 jacket to change when i am clearly larger than a 10 (her words).Why would they do that ?,Am i the only person who has lost a receipt !
Is this allowed what are my rights ?Thanks

A Fort Bend County woman files a lawsuit on former Governor and current sitting President George W. Bush.

Margie Schoedinger of Missouri City, Texas has filed a lawsuit against George W. Bush in Fort Bend County Court. In her suit she is alleging "race based harassment and individual sex crimes committed against her and her husband." The suit lists numerous offenses and asks for actual damages, punitive damages and judgments against George W. Bush.

It is a war against all nations. American ships have been sunk, American lives taken, in ways which it has stirred us very deeply to learn of, but the ships and people of other neutral and friendly nations have been sunk and overwhelmed in the waters in the same way. There has been no discrimination. The challenge is to all mankind. Each nation must decide for itself how it will meet it. The choice we make for ourselves must be made with a moderation of counsel and a temperateness of judgment befitting our character and our motives as a nation. We must put excited feeling away. Our motive will not be revenge or the victorious assertion of the physical might of the nation, but only the vindication of right, of human right, of which we are only a single champion.

I know they can not vote, or own a gun, but what other restrictions are there? Also, can they be in possession of a gun, and what is considered "possession"?

Background, a friend of mine just recieved a guilty verdict on a felony charged. Ive asked a few questions about this particular person if you want to know a little more. Anyway, when released from jail, if he moves back home, his girlfriend owns a gun she keeps for protection. Can he live there, or will she have to get rid of her gun? It is registered to her, it is in her name, she purchased it years ago.

Thanks in advance, from me and her.
