I'm just a young girl minding my own business. The new rules of random stop and search...is this necessary?

It's a fact of life in NY now. I've had my bad searched too and it's not a big deal, they are not looking for anything illegal unless it is related to a threat to the subway system. Since 9/11 the NYC subway system has successfully stopped 2 attacks on the subway. I am a liberal and I don't necessarily agree with the whole thing, but I would rather that than be blown up on the subway.

Well what if you had a bomb and they didn't search it or if some other young girl had one. Well it is a good rule to follow since you can't trust anyone anymore. So just be glad you left your weed at home.

I thought there was a law against unreasonable search and seizure

Perhaps the NYC police assumed you were of Arab ancestry.

Unfortunately, a lot of people that are of Arab ancestry are being discriminated.
