Well he was never going to be bottom of the class was he ! But lets give the kid a chance to prove himself, although i doubt very much he will be put in the line of fire. Have you noticed though, any royal that joins the armed forces has achieved outstanding service, even when they've not even seen action strange that !!

"Top of the class" can also be used generically, that is to say he was smart but didn't necessarily get the highest marks out of everybody. I mean, what else are they going to say about a prince??

This will only apply to his 'graduation' from Sandhurst. As this is his military barracks where he trained being 'top of his class' may not be the achievement it sounds.

Prince Harry Hewitt is in a class all his own. Let's see if he makes it to the real war instead of the play war.

The boy Harry was far from being the best in the class this sort of sycophantic drivel is typical of the media... and what's even more amazing there are people out their who actually believe it

Probably just means that his desk was higher than anyone else's. Perhaps it was on a plinth. Maybe his lisping brother.

Tell you what, I bet his school parent's evenings were fun
