And how can you be against the death penalty but for abortion?


I have mixed feelings on the death penalty. I am against abortion because it takes a life, and the same for the death penalty. HOWEVER- I think the death penalty is a lot more ethical than holding a person in a 8x8 cell for the rest of their lives. I'm for supervised community work and hard labor over life in prison, definately. There's got to be a way to punish criminals, but by killing them, are we any better than them?

I will not be voting for Obama simply because he is a democrat! I would vote for him if he believed the same things I do, regardless of his skin color! I believe to heavily in economic freedom for the people to vote for a democrat even though I hold some socially liberal stances. Do you think the liberals would call me a racist if Obama lost to a white person with my beliefs? Do you believe it is racism? Would you vote for a black man? Just to let everyone know, I am not voting for a republican either this upcoming election! I am voting libertarian!

...thought to the fact that I may just agree with what some republicans believe also? Everyone does NOT embrace any particular political party. Some of us prefer to think for ourselves. It is disheartening that some Repubs are so closed-minded so as to believe anyone who does not agree with them WHOLEHEARTEDLY regarding EACH and EVERY issue is a 'Democrat". Well then, remember my name. I am neither Demo NOR Repub NOR independent. I think for myself which is very healthy I might add. When you call others names or condescend to their way of thnking, t paints a picture of you as a person who is fearful that your party is about to die or something.

Perhaps we can all just agree to disagree without defining each other. Especially regarding political matters. All right?

This world is going to hell in a handbasket.. AND FAST!!

We have the technology to feed the planet 10 times over, desalinate the oceans for abundant fresh water.. and can EASILY accomodate EVERY HUMAN ON EARTH!! Sure china and India need to stop breeding.. and muslims and christians need to realise religion is a joke.. heard of UFO's??

Bill clinton that is. matter of factly hasn't Rudy been through 3 marriage? this is the same guy who left his ex through a NEWS CONFERENCE. same guy who keeps taking credit for being a leader after 911 yet this is the same guy who moved the emergency center for nyc to THE WORLD TRADE CENTER..against the adivce of the head of police and the fire dept...but yet people say he was a leader after 911..i wasn't aware putting a curfew on the city qualifies one as a leader (that's all he did he did nothing else). he keeps taking credit for cleaning up nyc when it WAS ED KOCH WHO DID IT-STARTING WITH REMOVING THE GRAFFITI FROM TRAINS.
