Bill Richardson. Don't laugh. The (current) top candidates in both parties all have serious issues, and the fight is going to be ugly, so I'd bet on somebody who is currently under the radar.

Richardson has legislative experience (congressman) and executive experience (served in Clinton's cabinet and currently a governor). He has the foreign policy expertise at a time when we desperately need somebody who can negotiate some pretty tricky waters. He also seems reasonably personable, with a good sense of humor.

Gore, Wes Clarke, and Gary Hart in that order. They are the only folk visible with the Mind, Gravitas, and Heart to do the job, and also have the real experience that it would take to clean up all the Bush Wars and other Neocon Disasters around the world.

Anyone who is not a really great Statesman will not be up for such a challenge.

i would pick my friend dave b/c he's really not that political and could care less about both the democrat and republican parties and those that each party panders too. i makes pretty good decisions, he's fair, he's really good with money, has a nice demeanor about him, and even knows a few card tricks.

i think where all of us have gone wrong (personally i'm trying to recover) is thinking that any of these politicians are sincere or that they really care about you or the issues they claim to champion; unfortunately i've heard to learn this first hand recently. now, they care very much about your vote but you as a person you mean nothing to them. everything to them is a calculated move and they assess each issue to see how the public's opinion may cost or benefit them at the ballot box. seriously people quit losing sleep and going prematurely grey over our political system. this country is great b/c of OUR hard work not b/c of some bozo, or any number of their cohorts in washington dc.

No one currently in the running.
We don't need a 'president of the United States"
We certainly do not need another George Bush.
Who says we need just one president anyway?.
How about four presidents representing each part of the country. East, west, north and south.

Because he is a man or honor and integrity. He is not a chickenhawk...he's a man who walked the walk.

helping McCain. I do think of of he will pull it off, yet in fact somewhat. i think of of dissimilar Obama supporters will lose their nerve or now not take place to vote. I thoroughly admit that is going to be very close and Obama's danger is actual. it would be stupid for the two section to think of of they have it contained interior the bag.

Colin Powell. And if he won I would drag him kicking and screaming into the White House. You can't trust that job to somebody that wants it.
