That, my friend, is the communist indoctrination program (AKA public schools) at work.

That is a discrace. I would remove my child from that school post-haste.

Just this quote from the article "The teachers decided its destruction was an opportunity to explore "the inequities of private ownership." According to the teachers, "Our intention was to promote a contrasting set of values: collectivity, collaboration, resource-sharing, and full democratic participation."

Where are these teachers from? Why would they teach something that is so far fetched in America. SHouldn't they be teaching important things that will help these kids succeed in America?

EDIT: You can catch the whole article here, with out paying:http://www.bizzyblog.com/WhyWeBannedLego_RethinkingSchools_Wtr2006.html

I would like to qoute for the last paragraph of the article: "We believe that educators have a responsibility to pay close attention to the themes, theories, and values that children use to anchor their play. Then we can interact with those worldviews, using play to instill the values of equality and democracy."

COMMUNISM

The part about the Chinese Siamese twins? There are lots of stories on that page.

Addendum:

Perhaps, students should be wary of their private property rights. There is a provision in the Constitution called "eminent domain," which gives the government the right to seize private property for the common good.

It's a private school.. so they can teach whatever they feel is fit to be taught... but you'd think they would be working on different life lessons.. oh well..

IT'S A PRIVATE SCHOOL, not public...
