my son's father is in the military(E4) and he is married, i just filed for child support. does anyone know if wewill be ordered to attend court and about how much he'll be ordered to pay.

I know it is not for everyone, but if people did not volunteer we would have a mandatory conscription like most European countries.
Futhermore, what is so Wrong about serving your nation and contributing to the country that gives you so much.
I am not talking about Politics or the War either its not about that.
I know even when I have the worst day ever I still believe that joining the Military was the best decision I have ever made.

I'm going to join the United States Air Force, and I would like people's opinion as to whether you think it's a good idea to join after I graduate high school in May, or go to college first.

everyone in my family wants me to go to college first, but I really really want to enlist after high school. but, i don't want to piss them off, and I want to make everyone happy..

The alledged perpetrator was the son of an influential family who were successful in suppressing the news of this murder from the media and he was never charged with the crime and remains free today. i am looking for coroboration of this event. a) Bush not putting in US General(s) recommended 300,000 US troops at the very start of the war in Iraq.

b) The liberal media who has no votes in the US Congress, can't control any of the US military & can't control Bush.

c) The Pentagon's "Rules of engagement" that don't allow US troops to fight to win the war in Iraq.

d) That fact the Bush won't allow the Iraqi Shiites wipe out the terrorists/insurgents who they've been preparing to fight for decades & have no rules of engagement like the US.

Ok, so I can carry any amount and defend myself against thieves. (So you think I'm wrong/stupid to do so...you honor the thief by suggesting I don't excercise my rights)...I don't negotiate with terrorists... But what "right" then do the police have in confiscating my money when I'm a) not laundering it and b) not using it for drugs?

I am going to call the snake who made "payment arrangements" with me from the collection agency. Someone gave me a heads up that he could use the info I stupidly gave him to drain my bank account. I can't do anything about that now, but I have moved my money into my other bank accounts so he can't get at those. Nobody can touch my other accounts now without a court order.

When I call him back, I will put him on speakerphone and record our conversation. I will repeat back to him the deal he told me he could give me--$500 now and $50 a month thereafter for six months to prevent a lawsuit. I will ask him to mail me this agreement in writing, or I won't make the $500 payment. This phone conversation will be recorded. I need to protect myself. I won't give him any more money without a written agreement.

I'm 17 years old now, still in high school (junior). I can't get an ROTC scholarship in college because I was depressed last year, and I cut myself. I'm not on medication anymore, but the military says that it is an automatic DQ for self-injury/attempted suicide. I'm mentally and emotionally stable now, but they won't care. What's done is done, thus there seems to be no legal way for me to get into the military from now on. I still want to become a soldier, so is there any legitimate mercenary agency that will hire me, despite my dark past? (And NO, I'm not some kid who thinks that war is cool from playing Counter Strike every day)

I reckon Republicans have realised that they cannot afford another 'disaster' like GWB, so to have any chance of keeping the White House, they are going for a Republican 'Liberal'.
As a 'Liberal', I can live with Giuliani.
