That's the only place America should fight. Preventing terrorism.
It would save lots of life(s) from American soldiers, mostly.

If the US stayed on its own soil, it wouldn't have to "fight on its own soil".

Those who fight wars on their own land are those who think most carefully about starting wars. Why do you think the US was so shocked by the brutality of war in Vietnam when it appeared on their TVs?

And if you are suggesting it is islam that the US will "fight on its own soil", you're either uninformed or dishonest. The muslims have made it clear they want non-muslims off their land, something they said DECADES before Osama bin Laden or any violence began. Foreigners were invading their lands for oil for a long time before any "terrorism" was carried out. They didn't start this, the US, England and other invaders did.

As well, 9/11 was a one-shot deal; they know that they will never be able to hit the US again in that way, it's too geographically isolated and none of its neighbors are muslim countries. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves or lying to others.

Take look at Thailand. The military overthrew the corrupt Shinawatra government last September; Shinawatra's policy was "shoot first, ask questions later" and the muslim separatists continued to attack. The military was ALWAYS willing to negotiate with the muslims, and after the coup, the only bombing in Thailand occured in Bangkok, and it was Shinawatra's supporters who were responsible for that one.

When foreigners invade their countries, all it does is piss them off more and exacerbate the problem. Iran has returned to democracy over the past 28 years and the people want to return to a full secular parliamentary democracy.

Why is Iran changing back to a democracy? Because the US stayed the hell out for 20 years. (Iran WAS a democracy until the US helped the Shah overthrow it and create a dictatorship in 1953.)

Not conventionaly. A single US navy battle group or carrier group could wipe out the entire world a couple times over. However i do think terrorists will try to posion water, crops things like that. I think we may have to prepare for the eventually of troops being deployed on the streets as extra security against the bastards.

UHHHHH... you do realize that we have the largest military in the world right now, the only POSSIBLE contender is China, and they have their own domestic problems. Conventional war on our own soil will probably not happen, but if you want to worry about something, plenty of countries want to nuke us and they are damn close to getting the right materials

LONG LIVE THE SECOND AMENDMENT!! NRA!!!!!!!
