It depends on what your definition of best and most powerful are. I am in the US Air Force and I would say the US but that is not necessarily true. We have one of the largest. China has more troops then us but that doesn't necessarily make them stronger or better just larger. If you define power by numbers then China is the answer. Up until a few years ago some one might argue that Israel had a better Army because of they had more experience fighting with all the Arab countries. But given the worlds current situation I would say that the US Army is the best. We have gained plenty experience over the past few years. We have one of the highest GNP's of any country in the world which means if we went to full war time production we could maintain our force much better than China's in a longer war. We have one of the best trained military in the world as well. So when you way all the factors then the US military is the best.

I would have to say the best army is those that belong to the commonwealth, the top three would be Canada, Australia & Britain. They are all tough f*ckers, as well as being extremely professional they have a commom interest in mind "being humane" not lowering themselves down to terrorism.

The British is the best because we have the best training and we are naturally the hardest fuckers in the world and most disciplined. 10/10

I would have say China's million man army, if we are talking strictly about an army & not Navy or Air force. The US has the best & most powerful Navy & Air Force.

USA, of course. Canada and England have damn good armies, too,as do countries in Europe. Also, Australia, and South Korea.

We do ofcourse. Our military is the best trained and most technologically advanced. If we really wanted to end this crap with Iraq, North Korea, and Iran, we really could. US policy prevents us from going all out and making examples of other countries. Oh, I served in Iraq, so I know this to be fact.
