CO2 levels are currently at 380 ppm, highest levels in the last 650 million years. Highest levels before were peaks of 290 ppm, lowest were troughs of 240 ppm corresponding with ice ages. CO2 levels correlate directly with temperature. High atmospheric CO2 levels started to upturn in the last 50 years. 21 of the 25 hottest years recorded have happened since 1980. The vast majority of the worlds' scientists agree that humans greenhouse gas emissions contribute to the problem and that we could reverse the trend.
This evidence is not enough to convince some of you who seem to think it's about politics and not science.
So my question to you is what scientific evidence WOULD convince you that the elevated greenhouse gas levels in the atmosphere and elevated global temps are due in part to humans?
