All they did was glorify them in the media last week when they played again. I found it offensive that they allowed those criminals on the field to play again.

Hello,

I can't figure out the problem below. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Let R be a relation on the set N of natural numbers defined by

R = {(a,b) (element symbol) N x N ׀ a divides b in N }

Is R a partial order of N? Explain.

Is N with the divisibility relation given above a totally ordered set? Explain.

Here is my work so far:

Reflexive: so, a <= a always holds.

For example, 2 <= 2
3 <= 3
...etc.

Antisymmetric: so, if a <= b and b <= a holds, then a = b

Don't see this yet? What values to choose to show? Can a and b be the same value?

Transitive: so, if a <= b and b <= c hold, then a <= c also holds.

For Example, since 2 <= 3, and
3 <= 6, then
2 <= 6

* I need to know the antisymmetric part before I can tell if it holds and therefore is a poset.

To be totally ordered every pair of elements a,b in the set is comparable (a <=b or b <= a). The set of natural numbers is not totally ordered since for example

What drives the majority of most mainstream (television, newspaper, talkshow hosts, etc.) media outlets and personalities to be so liberal. It is as apparent as day and night that these organizations are not only liberal, but moreso, anti American. When did this trend begin, why is this so?

Find me a true scientist that doesn't believe in Global warming who ISNT funded by a neo-conservative think tank such as the Heritage foundation.

I want their names, credentials,links to peer-reviewed papers, and most importantly funding sources for their studies.

Details:
Lost lisence because I was taking an anti depressant and didn't know that I needed a doctor to fill out a form saying I am able to drive.
No one told me about it. No doctors mentioned the form and I never got a notice from DMV saying my lisence was suspended. I was pulled over for having a light out and (imagine my suprise) found out I was going to be arrested if I couldn't get a friend to drive me home!
I have a court date and am about to wet my pants out of fear. In Maine, I can have up to six months in jail.
(Bonus question: What is jail like in Maine?!)
Thanks a lot.

*Note* I'm not saying I support the idea, just throwing out some food for thought rather than the normal rhetoric we get to see on here.. with that in mind.. what would you think of turning all nations into states, letting them elect representatives and senators to represent them in a world congress.. with a world vote for an elected official.. would this solve any problems in the world.. would it create problems??

They said the name of the film, the name of the producers, and Guggenheim, who I think wrote and directed the documentary. No one mentioned Al...other than Guggenheim.

So actually, Guggenheim won the Oscar for his film...and then gave it to Al.

KY law has a case Pegler v. Pegler 1995 States BAH is not used in child support calculation although the guidelines for CS guidlines say to include it. Key word 'guidelines". How does one get around this? My ex will ALWAYS receive BAH no matter where he is even if he lives in a tent or otherwise because of BAH differential due to his child support obligation is what I understand. Am I wrong or is there a way he will receive nothing?

Another question I answered got me going...

In general, does the public think CPS is a good/ bad idea... Think about it, is it not in the childs best interest to be with the parents unless absolutly immediate threat to the child is present?

I know of a few cases...

1) Man in cali got CPS called on him for not giving his daughter a medicine that caused her more health problems then the one she already had.. Has been fighting back and forth for 5 years, lots of money, and his wife has been in and out of the hospital ever since with anxiety...
