First and foremost, no member of the Duke Lacrosse team raped, assaulted, kidnapped, etc. the accuser. They were wrong, but not for what they were prosecuted for. Just as their own parents said in their interview on "60 Minutes," they were morally wrong for having this party and condoning this behavior as a team, but they have paid the price many times over for this behavior. As a Division I leading team, they should know that their actions off the field as a team and individuals play as important a role as their actions on field.
All that being said, you most definitely have either decided not to update yourself on the proceedings since last summer, or have decided to put up a blinder and not believe what you are hearing, because otherwise you would know that this case will be dismissed entirely because nothing was done to the accuser.
Additionally, get your facts straight, because the three players accused aren't even on the field. Reade Seligmann and Collin Finnerty were both suspended right after the "incident" but have since been invited back in good standing, but have not yet returned and will likely not. David Evans graduated in 2006. So, none are even at Duke right now.
Just so you have an update, I'll give you a few chances to redeem yourself on a future occasion. Read this article for an update:

Next time, read the facts before giving an opinion. We may have the ability to have free speech in this country, but it should be shown respect enough to speak the facts.

Why would you be offended? They did not do it...the stripper has changed her story like 100 times and even her friend says she was lying...the DA just used this because he was so far behind in the polls that he knew if he would press hard on these kids that he would get the black vote, which he did...I guess he thought they might try to plea out, or the stripper would actually stick to a story...that is why the DA will probably be dis-bared and might go to jail...what happened to innocent until proven guilty?
If I was Rev Al, Jackson, and the New Black Panther Party...I would be preparing for the Slander Law suits heading their way...

Whoa, wait a minute, these boys haven't been found guilty of anything. In fact, it was brought out in the news that the "victim" was a liar, and had tried yelling rape before to sue for money. Also, wasn't the D.A. kicked off the case for trying to hide evidence that could acquit these boys? Bring all the facts to the table before you start going off on a rant.

The criminal was the STRIPER, that claimed rape and the district attorney that sought proscution. When a person is not convicted of a crime it means they are innocent, even if they are white men. We are not all 1964 klans-men in Mississippi.

Haven't you heard? Obviously don't like reading. They were not guilty of the crimes you refer to.
The guilty person was the lying wh*** that brought the charges in the first place and a power hungry DA that thought he could get political mileage out of it.
At least stay current please.

The DA hid the evidence that would have kept morons like you from ever thinking they were guilty. Do some research before you ask questions.

Wait - the "lady" dropped the charges because they were false and unsubstantiated, and the DA is up on charges of fraud. The players were wrongly accused and proved their innocence. They have as much right to play as anyone else.

I believed they dropped most of the charges because the woman finally came forward and said she wasn't sure anything happened.
