Funny at one time a vote or party which one belonged to stayed private. To actually know what percentage of military is liberal one would have to count all the votes to see what is then take into account that some people vote on issues not for parties. I know people who say they belong to one party when they are in that parties company however they vote for the other party. Think it's pretty much the same in the military if not even more so because one shouldn't speak bad about their boss reguardless if they agree or disagree with them. After all he is still their boss.

What percent is women ? What percent is black ? What percent is "poor" ? What percent is left handed ?
Which demographic should we choose to blame or congratulate for military success or lack there of ?
How about other occupations ? What percent of professors are liberal ? Maybe enough where we can say that conservatives are ignorant because they are under represented. Therefore they shouldn't have any say how the educational system is ran.
It's all very silly.

Liberalism and conservatism has nothing and shouldn't have nothing to do with the military. The military should act based on facts, necessities and threats not based on a ideology or a political view.
