Why can't people be open minded. I know lots of people who don't agree with him that enjoy his show and I know people who wish him harm who have never listened to his show for a second. How can someone really feel that way by just listening to his critics. I don't agree with James Carville or Bill Mahr but I find them entertaining. I don't dislike them.

Well if you listened to many liberals exclusively you would think that Rush is the most dangerous man in the world. I am sure many people who share liberals views, but have never listened to his radio show believe this to be true simply because someone else said it was. I don't listen to Limbaugh much and when I do I don't always agree with him, but here again to listen to many liberals tell it all conservatives are just Limbaugh clones waiting for their marching orders. Just write it off to the failings of the misinformed. After all, who is bigger fool, the fool, or the one who argues with him?

Edit: I find the answers here amusing because they didn't really consider the question as posed. I am with the questioner in what he is trying to say. I know many people who say they hate Rush Limbaugh and when you ask if they have ever listened to his show and what they don't like about it the answer often comes back "No I would never listen to that ******". I think people have a right to express their opinion, but I value honesty. Anyone who has listened to Limbaugh and doesn't like him has every right to criticize, but it is dishonest to criticize without factual foundation on which to stand.

The man has a gigantic mouth, and it's easy to hear is narrow minded offensive babble in the news, without having to listen to his show. By the way, it's extremely unlikely to both enjoy that show, and have an open mind, just because of the nature of the content.

I've listened to Rush which is how I know that he plays fast and loose with the facts. He's not a reliable source of information at all. I don't wish him harm. I just don't believe that anything that comes out of his mouth is anything other than self serving, partisan rhetoric.

This weblog editorial is pathetic. in the beginning it starts with the some distance-precise propoganda that one and all and sundry analyzing the l. a. cases is a liberal - that's a lie. 2nd is says all and sundry analyzing it hasn't listened to hurry - yet another lie. I used to examine the cases each and all of the time, and then hear to hurry in my vehicle each and every morning on a thank you to artwork - switching off between it and Air u.s. - TO GET diverse comments!!! absolutely everyone would not have be a partisan goon such as you!

Although I agree with much that Rush has to say I can't stand his show. He is an arrogant egotistic axehole. Sean Hannity is much better.
Also Rush is a total hypocrite when it comes to buying drugs illegally. He believes a black person buying drugs illegally should be put in prison but a rich white guy such as himself should face no consequences.

I thought I would hate his show, but then I listened and removed all doubt. I could make an entertaining show too if I just made up sh*t and ignored facts. I don't hate him, just think it is pathetic that some people believe the crap he spews.

I don't know how you can hate anyone you've never met.

I'm a liberal. I've heard Rush. I think he's an idiot. I don't hate him. He's an entertainer, and he's very good at his job, which is to incite dissent and divide Americans. I hate his message, but I have no feelings toward him personally.

I have listened to his show many times... and I just don't like the guy.. he's very good at spinning his opinions into partial truths or other opinions to convince people he is right.

I am a very open minded person, I did listen to Rush Limbaugh. My open mind told me he is a extreme right-wing, psycho, lying, hate-spewing nutjob.
