It is real simple.

They develop statements. Then they send all the statements to a research company, and they call 10,000 people and ask them which statements they like best, and then that is what the politician says. That is why we have an almost 50/50 split in the last 2 elections is because both sides are now equally utilizing these tools to fool the public. Basically it sounds like they are telling you what you want to here because that is exactly what they are doing. It is a simple scientific principal known as extrapolation. If they interview a representative sample, x amount men/women, x amount 18-35/35-44/45-54/55+, x amount spread through ethnic background, they can project that if 70% of 10,000 responds positively then 70% of 270,000,000 will respond the same way. They are planning what to say.

I would take on any politician in a heads up debate with no preparation and I would win every time against them using their typical method scientific research so they can throw BS at you.

Basically, they know what you want to hear and they say it, and then nothing gets done because it was all words. Long live the republic.

They really don;t have to do much. The media today does it for them. They are on every front page, every radio show, every TV report. When the race will seriously start every politician will be marketed through ads, TV, radio, newspaper and political rallies. They will be rated based on their view on such important subjects such as the Iraq war, the economy, health care issues, social security issues and ethical and moral issues such as gay marriage, immigration etc.
I think the media as i said already makes up for half the campaign when it comes to publicity of any serious candidate.

being on TV and making there selves look and sound good and making it look as if their opponent is a liar, and a cheat just to get elected in office. Just look at Mrs. C. and Mr. O it don't make sense that's why I'm not going to vote for neither Mrs. C,nor Mr.O. I'm looking a Mr. E if any body to get my vote.
