Even though some people get a gag reflex if they see two guys kiss, GLBT(think i got that right) couples are simply as creepingly love struck as any heterosexual couple. Most importantly they aren't hurting anyone!

On the other hand there are children being killed every day by mothers who are inconvenienced by having a child. Killing kids, just not cool...

So say one day us silly republicans finally ban abortions BUT we also accept GLBT marriages, followed by letting them adopt the excess of children that are being born. Granted such a black and white scenario will never happen, but would you find it HYPOTHETICALLY acceptable?

Bill Clinton was our first Black President. So will that make Hillary our first Black Female President? Or is Bill's blackness strictly non-transferrable?

I am not a smoker and I generaly to not like the smell of smoke. In the past I did like to have a cigar in a bar once in a while. I do agree with laws baning smoking in public areas so that non smokers are not expossed to second hand smoke, but do you think that the ban should also include all bars?

I was present when 2 Officers were attempting to find out if a man was telling the truth about being an Emergency Room Employee. This person said they lost their wallet & their Hospital ID Card was in the wallet. The Officer told the man to "Talk Cop" to him, because if he really DID work at a Hospital, then he would know what he meant! Was the Cop just screwing with this guys head? Is there such a thing as actually "talking cop"?

Ilegals are going to get these benefits in Baltimore?
just saw this on Fox News in Baltimore:
Tonight in Annapolis, demonstrators are expected to show their support for a bill that would allow illegal immigrants to pay in-state tuition at Maryland colleges. But, there's another bill under consideration that would prohibit illegal immigrants from getting a drivers license in the state

Will there be more traffic accidents if we give the illegal license? Do you think it's fair to give these benefits to the illegals

Ok here is my question... I have a sister who is only two weeks away from graduating from NAVY basic training... today she broke her foot and tore some ligaments in her foot while doing PT... the military is now saying that it was a preexisting condition and wont pay for her surgery and wont pay for the time shes been in basic and wont pay for any of the medical bills and wont treat her until its resolved... they tried to force her to sign something before reading it but she read it first and refused as it said that she agreed that she had a preexisting condition... we have retained a naval lawyer... what more can we do... they also wanna discharger her (and not pay for physical therapy or sergery or her inablilty to work for the next couple months).... if you have any suggestions please let me know what more I can do for my sister?

It seems to me the world polluted a lot more in the past and we survived. Yet it never seems to be enough for the wacko environmentalists. I'm not for wanton polluting ,but we need some common sense here people. We're not destroying the planet

The Nazis and Communists thought forcing people into service(military) was a good idea and they failed. i need to explain this for my debate. how did this fail for them, in the same way that our draft will fail for us?

...and how unreasonable it is that there are more of us?
I'm totaly baffled by what is going on in the country and I'm sure some of you will agree a sure as most will conform and accept it as it is. The big companies are owning us. There are more lower class consumers. They make the cheapest TV they can make so that everyone can buy one, we buy their crap, and they get richer. The government is afraid of the market in the sense that they don't know how to aproach this handful of BIG companies, without them getting touchy and gettign in a legal battle, the companies can "afford" and forcing their hand into D.C., by way of their lobbyists, to "convince" senators to pass bills in their favor. The words "war profiteer" come to mind. Still CEOs get richer than the president himself. If the president had no military command he would just be a public service figure. About this war, sadly, we need the oil. If we run out before other countries, we couldn't fly our bombers to protect ourselve

It's now well established that George W. Bush never showed up for National Guard duty for a period of approximately one year, possibly more, in 1972-1973. Despite all the talk about "honor and dignity," Bush seemed to have flushed his down the toilet.

U.S. soldier was sentenced to 100 years in prison Thursday for the gang rape and murder of an Iraqi girl and the killing of her family last year.
Sgt. Paul E. Cortez, 24, also was given a dishonorable discharge. He will be eligible for parole in 10 years under the terms of his plea agreement.
In his plea agreement, he said he conspired with three other soldiers from the Fort Campbell-based 101st Airborne Division to rape 14-year-old Abeer Qassim al-Janabi. The girl, her parents and a younger sister were all killed.
Earlier Thursday, tears rolled down Cortez's face as he apologized for the rape and murders. He said he could not explain why he took part.
Cortez said this week that former private Steven D. Green raped the girl in front of him; shot her father, mother and sister; and then shot her in the head. He also testified that the soldiers attempted to burn the girl's body; burned their own clothes; and threw the murder weapon, into a canal in an attempt to dispose of the evidence.

If we put the death a man, who we thought was guilty of a capital crime, and later found out that there was evidence that the man was actually innocent beyond a doubt...are we murders since he was killed in the name of the state?

2. I wouldn't be a good "shock trooper" cause I have panic atacks and might compromise my comrades
3. i'd like a branch with cool sounding rank names and battle dresses!

also, I have an unrelated question, does the military allow a outside item such as a swiss army knife to be carried?
