So, some of you know what I am trying to find out--when I am being confirmed as an officer in the Army? I have been selected for a direct commission and my waiver was granted (Army HPSP). Next, the Senate must vote on the list of new officers--called scrolls. They are routine, red stamp votes. I cannot find the full text (with names) on the US Senate or Thomas websites. (They might be there, just can't find them). Anyone know where to find this information?

I think it's funny that name gets lobbed at all Republicans as some sort of insult. I don't know of a single Rep that is honestly offended by that. Personally I think it makes the insulting person look a little hysterical. Why do Liberals think it is so offensive? I'd be more offended if someone called me a Liberal.

"Neo-conservatism is a term almost exclusively used by the enemies of America's liberation of Iraq. There is no "neo-conservative" movement in the United States. When there was one, it was made up of former Democrats who embraced the welfare state but supported Ronald Reagan's Cold War policies against the Soviet bloc. Today neo-conservatism identifies those who believe in an aggressive policy against radical Islam and the global terrorists." David Horowitz

If you have any ideas, clues or anything, let me know.

ps
For any WW2 memoribilia collectors, I have a box of WW2 things: pictures of japanese airplane graveyard (planes are all shot up), USO Show pictures, enlistment/honorable discharge/awards and other misc. paperwork, patches (including 2 leather patches bearing the 370th Bombardment Squadron insigna), aerial photos of islands, lots of other misc. war pictures and a bunch of pictures of a suburban Massachusetts town (Woburn) in the 1940's.

These photos were originally owned by a Seargent in the 370th Bombardment Squad during WW2. If anybody has any info on the "collectibility' of things like that, let me know. I can scan more also.

Does a verbal or printed attack upon the political efforts of the Dick Chaney/George Bush administration do anything to support the Armed Forces or is there any demoralizing effect, in this day and age of massive communications..?

How do shout loud and clear about your dissafaction with the war efforts, and being in Iraq, without the troops hearing about your feelings and thoughts of being in Iraq...?

Can you seperate the two issues or are they connected....the war in Iraq and support for the troops..?

Your thoughts.....

The way I see it, the founding fathers we brilliant. The fact that Americans own and have access to so many guns, makes it so anybody who wants to invade this country is going to find an entire population ready to throw down. If anyone tried to occupy the United States do you believe that militas would spring up lickity split or what?

If police come to my house on a search warrant for drugs can they search my whole house? They found numerous drugs and did not make any arrests and its 5 days later. When I went to the court house they have no file of the warrant or charges. The police took my lease too. When they came in they had assault rifles and no uniform and yelled get the f*** down! Does this sound right to you? They also could not provide me with an affadavit or a probable cause and would not let me make any attorney questions
