Out of all the Republicans, McCain has more sense then most of them. He at least calls it like it is, especially in the case of Rumsfeld being the "worst Secretary of Defense in US history." He also has been instrumental in "trying" to pass real campaign finance reform along with Sen. Feingold of Wisconsin, but Bush has repeatedly threatened to veto it. As for Clinton, it's not that I don't trust her or not. I don't think she's done anything ethically wrong to warrant all the charges against her character. Bill might be another story as far as character flaws, but I don't have a personal problem with her. Politics is a different question.

Hillary = for the war now saying she wasn't given total fact about the war because she is running for president = distrust!
McCain = against the war now for the war that he is running for president = distrust!
I realize that peoples views change over a course of time however isn't it conventant around the time they run there is a change in their tune? Might be where distrust is coming to the forefront?

McCain is about as stable as Reagan late in his second term and most of Americans don`t think a women can keep as safe as a man. We have not evolved enough.
