I live Pretoria in South Africa, would like to know what the law says about noisy neighbors? Time etc.

Sorry but I can't tell you the law where you live but I will say that where I live it is called disturbing the peace and is a crime but not a very serious one. If found guilty the accused pays a fine and that is the end of it.

Laws on noise vary from city to city. Generaly, if the noise being caused by one is enough to disturb the average person then it is considered a nuisance. Check your local laws for specifics.

Generally the ones causing the noise will be warned to quiet down and if they don't then they will be cited. Contact your local authorities to find out the specifics in your area.
