If you have any ideas, clues or anything, let me know.

ps
For any WW2 memoribilia collectors, I have a box of WW2 things: pictures of japanese airplane graveyard (planes are all shot up), USO Show pictures, enlistment/honorable discharge/awards and other misc. paperwork, patches (including 2 leather patches bearing the 370th Bombardment Squadron insigna), aerial photos of islands, lots of other misc. war pictures and a bunch of pictures of a suburban Massachusetts town (Woburn) in the 1940's.

These photos were originally owned by a Seargent in the 370th Bombardment Squad during WW2. If anybody has any info on the "collectibility' of things like that, let me know. I can scan more also.

i'm a malaysian and my country is neighbouring with indonesia.it is definitely indonesian language which is quite similar to our own language bahasa melayu.the words are of the older spelling and because of some differences in our language there are several words which i also cannot understand:
the title:chabang-chabang perang jang bergambar (war pictures......i'm not sure the meaning of CHABANG-CHABANG)

the article can be translated to:The above picture shows parts of landing crafts carry the might of US army to liberate Europe. The picture below shows some of thousands of German prisoners who surrendered.

2nd article:Japanese bases are in the Allied hands
Saipan, Tinian and Guam in the Mariana islets are the most important Japanese bases in the Central Pacific.the Japanese defences are unable to to resist the might of naval and aerial attack of the Allied forces everywhere, that the Japanese forces is now isolated.
The pictures shown the conditions of the islands during the struggle.
The Mariana island is now becoming the base of Allied forces for air and naval strength.Bombers and ships located here will be able to reach Japan and Philippine islands. The losses of those islands is a setback for Japan causing Tojo,Japan's Prime Minister,to quit.

That's all what i can do to help you.there are maybe some grammatical error but it can help you a lot because i've translated almost every single word and in the best manner as the articles reported.I'm a teacher and i'm very fond of WW2 history.

You can collect whatever you want, and I don't understand you stating what you have, are you trying to sell it or brag about it? Do you know if those pictures are Authenticate? Most of the stuff you have sorry to say is worthless, I mean if you like it then go for it. As a military historian the only thing of interest MAYBE depending on what paperwork you have, is the paperwork and what it says. I am interested in what you call "Misc paperwork" the other stuff is useless, sorry. I mean those studying photo history might find the photos worth something to them but overall I doubt that your "collection" is worth that much monetarily, now for the people who are on the records or something that was with the 370th then yeah they are very important. But yeah I am interested in the Misc. Paperwork. send me a IM at militaryhistorylvr

Honestly if i were to take a stab in the dark i would say it probably is Indonesian also in the first picture it says indonesia at the bottom its the second to last word but also if u say the words it actually sounds like something you would hear from the indonesian area or surrounding area... actually im almost positive its a news clipping from an indonesian news paper.... look up some of the words in google.

I am fairly certain it's Indonesian. One of the major clues is that Djepang, which was an Indonesian city, was in conflict during WWII. Also, the text contains fragments of text I can recognize as Indonesian.

I have things from Germany but these things were passed down from my wife family and will go on to my children some day. The photos look very European to me and I lived in Europe for a number of years. Like Poland

I guess if I looked around some I could find some photos of Westborough, and maybe Shrewsbury,.........MA.

Tagalog, probably a flyer distributed in Jakarta, Indonesia.

There's lots of collectability in WW2 memorabilia, although the monetary value may be questionable.

As a note- Bareasskmeagain is probably right. I only recognize it as being similar to Tagalog, but it's definitely not standard.

Interesting photos. I'm going to guess Indonesian. It is vaguely similar to Tagalog - in a way but I don't think it is.

Indonesian.

Easy. Absolutely, positively and with out a doubt the language is....Pig Latin. It was so obvious that most people would have missed it.

OK...come on. Just a bit of stupid humor. Hey....it's just about midnight here in San Diego, CA.

And obviously I have no information on the language.
