Sure, but you probably won't have it long.

If your state has reciprocity with the state you're thinking of getting your license all records will be shared and you won't have a license. If you were too get an out of state license, you're current one would automatically become invalid as you can only one state issued drivers license. If you do this before your court date, your swticheroo just might pop up and then what are you gonna say?

The fact of the matter is the person in question should have their license taken away until you can learn to drive responsibly.

You have to meet residency requirements to get a driver's license in another state. That pending DUI charge will follow you even if you try to get another driver's license. Chauffer's licenses were eliminated with the advent of the CDL to prevent a driver from obtaining multiple licenses. Take your lumps & either don't drink or get a designated driver for your next night out.

You accepted the drivers license from your state. You acted irresponsibly. Hand the judge your license and consider yourself lucky that you and the other drivers of your state were not injured because you drove under the influence.

If you get pulled over with your brand new out of state license, the officer will cross reference your license in your state and they will still find out you are suspended and you will still go to jail. Just take your punishment and get it over with -- then don't drink and drive anymore.

Any attempt to manipulate law to an illegal end is FRAUD. Which is a felony and not a misdemeanor like DUI. Go ahead see where it gets your "Friend".
