Assuming you mean for president, I would select the one whose political beliefs matched most closely to mine. I would not base it on race or gender. I am also considering experience, foriegn policy, commitment to education, etc. I look at it as an employer hiring an employee. One thing I always considered when looking over applications was spelling. If they couldn't spell the name of the street that they lived on I wouldn't hire them. Why? Because education is the one thing that is (in a way) free in America. It makes me ill the way some people run around looking for something free, and taking whatever they can get for free, except for the one thing that would benefit them the most. By the way, I haven't decided yet on who I want for president, but I have a pretty good idea.

Unfair question we know what the Libertarian stands for but not what a black guy or a white woman stands for. The black guy could be Collin Powell and the white woman could be Angelina Jolie.

Since I do not base my decision on whether a person is A Black Guy, A White Woman, or a Libertarian but base it upon their opinions and the issues and their stand on the issues.

Alright, since you didn't set a premise for what one would select them to do...I'm forced to take all three...

A Black Guy..For good protection in a bad neighborhood.
A White Woman...cus she ain't a guy....you know....
A Libertarian...cus i know that he will fight for freedom.

I would pick a woman of any race, but since these are the choices, a white woman. Women (on the whole) are good communicators, and would promote peace. It would have to be a woman who was very firm and sure of herself though (like Hilary). I would actually like to see all three of these in office someday. And hopefully even more variety than that, eventually. This country needs some drastic changes.

And for those of you who gave me the thumbs down, I'd just like to add that I wouldn't just BLINDLY vote for anyone based on their race, sex, or even their political party, but since that was all the info the question gave us, that is what I based my answer on. Duh.

I would not base my support upon either race or gender, but rather on whichever candidate stands for the people and for the Constitution/Bill of Rights!!!!

The Libertarian, even if she was black.

I would choose the "Presidental Candidate" who would best fill the needs of the American people and our Government. (Hell) If I thought "Howdy-Doody" would make a better President then Bush,I'd vote for him.
