I respect smokers. They don't give a care what other people think about smoking because they know it's none of their business. Non-smokers have bad habits too, many which are FAR worse than smoking.
Smoking might destroy your lungs, but thinking you know what's best for other people will rot your hypocritical soul.

Good question. Well try this:
Tough Questions...........
Question 1:
If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three who were deaf, two who were blind,
one mentally challenged, and she had syphilis; would you recommend that she have an abortion?
Read the next question before scrolling down to the answer of this one.
Question 2:
It is time to elect a new world leader, and your vote counts. Here are
the facts about the three leading candidates:
Candidate A:
Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists. He's had two mistresses.
He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.
Candidate B:
He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used
opium in college and drinks a quart of whisky every evening.
Candidate C:
He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't
smoke, drinks an occasional beer and hasn't had any extramarital affairs.
Which of these candidates would be your choice? Decide first, no peeking, then scroll down
for the answer.
Candidate A is Franklin D. Roosevelt
Candidate B is Winston Churchill
Candidate C is Adolph Hitler
And by the way, the answer to the abortion question:
If you said yes, you just killed Beethoven.
Pretty interesting isn't it?
Makes a person think before judging someone.
Remember amateurs built the ark - Professionals built the Titanic.

I smoke but I fail to see the relevancy in this issue. To satisfy your interest here is a list of modern day Presidents who smoked something be it cigars, cigarettes, or pipes.
Franklin Roosevelt
Dwight Eisenhower
Lyndon Johnson
Richard Nixon
Gerald Ford
Ronald Reagan
John & Jackie Kennedy
In fact Clinton, Carter, Truman, and the Bushes are the only smoke-free presidents in the modern era.
I'm just sad this sort of thing has any effect on voters whatsoever. There are so many more important issues.

Quite frankly, his personal habits are nobodys business as long as he isn't breaking the law. We are way too obsesses with things that shouldn't concern us like what religion a person is, what is his sex life-like that.
These things really have no place in the decision making process. A person is either capable of being a leader or not capable. I would rather have a president that smokes like a smoke-stack, has multiple mistresses and never goes to church than the president we have now.

Rumor has it that he has quit. However; I believe him to be the most down to earth; humanistic, and frank candidate encompassing both parties. Its about time the White House is returned to the people rather than corporate greed.

Well, not glad exactly, but it is none of my business...I'm sure whether he smokes or not will not make him a worse or better president. I prefer a president who smokes to one who lies and calls himself a born again christian.. any day of the week!

Na, I gotta be honest, it's a nasty habit and I don't like seeing anyone smoke. It is tough to quit, he's in for a helluva time.
