i have been looking at the trailers that fema lets the victims of hurricanes use on their auctions, and the people stoled half of the stuff in them. come on does anybody have any self respect anymore. i think the government should quit helping all these people and maybe they will try to find a job quicker, and quit stealing more from the tax payers. i dont work my *** off to support low life scum that think the government owe them a living. what do you think?

How long is each brach of the military's enlistment contract? In other words how long does one have to serve in each branch. I know for the marines, it's 4 years active and 4 years inactive. But what about the rest? Also, what is the shortest enlistment time the military offers? Where can i find out more about all this info? I checked military.com but didn't see anything regarding this question. Thanks

I was in Acapulco, Mexico last week (w00t!), and the only channel worth watching was the American Network (79). Every day at 4 PM (CT) was Judge Judy, and at 4:30 PM (CT) was Judge Joe Brown. I think these are the two best judges in the world! I already knew about them beforehand, but it's amazing how they can put up with some of these cases.
My question: who is the best judge?
The choices are: Judge Judith Sheindlin (aka Judge Judy) and Judge Joe Brown.
May the best judge prevail!

I understand why some people want it but I think it should be left up to the establishments to decide on whether or not to allow smoking in their facility. The government is just going to find something else to ban after this.

President George W. Bush and Vice President Richard B. Cheney have committed violations and subversions of the Constitution of the United States of America in an attempt to carry out impunity crimes against peace and humanity. For war crimes and deprivations of the civil rights of the people of the United States and other nations, by assuming powers of an imperial executive unaccountable to law and usurping powers of the Congress, the Judiciary and those reserved to the people of the United States.
They have both violated their oaths of office and are using our good men and women of the United States Military for their hidden agenda's. Do you think they will be brought to justice before or after they leave office?

Is being a doctor who 'specialises' in treating criminals unethical? Since criminals can't go to hospitals and clinics, who can they turn to for help? Sure, some of them kill people and all, but if, say, they sustained a grievous injury and will die in a few hours... Don't doctors have an obligation to save them? That's if the criminals go to hospitals/clinics. But shouldn't someone be there for them? I don't think I make sense, but I just want the question out of my system, heh =)

Will the US pull out of Iraq?

Didn't our government tell us we were there to build a democracy?

Why isn't Iraqi constitutional reform, election reform issues dealt with first? That is the reason we are there?

Here is the reason our soliders are dying, here is the reason more then 20,000 troops have been injuried with life long disabilities. Here is the reason the troops coming home have to fight through an endless buracracy to get care.

"According to Iraqis familiar with the deliberations, the draft law would offer international oil companies several methods to invest, including production-sharing agreements. Those would give U.S. and other international companies a substantial share of the oil revenues to recover their initial investments and then allow them big tax breaks."

The president of the United States and leaders from Canada and Mexico, with influence from big business, are pushing for what is essentially a North American Union. This is being done without oversight from Congress or input from the citizens. I`d like to know your thoughts about this and what, if anything, can be done.

Europeans in 1914 were not the first to misunderstand the horrors of war. When the American Civil War began in 1861, some Northerners thought it would be over by the end of the first year. In fact, many people who lived in Washington D.C., rushed out to see the first major battle, hoping the Union Army would quickly destroy the Confederates. They even packed their carriages with picnic baskets! Like wise, one hundred years later, when the first American troops joined the Korean War in June 1950, people expected them to quickly " wrap things up" and return home for the holidays. AND ALSO, For what kind of causes, If any, might you be willing to fight in war?
