Several soldiers are protesting the Iraqi war with a 'Petition for Redress'. They are disappointed/frustrated by the senselessness of it. They want the soldiers to come home now, safe and alive. Those of you who advocate the war, would you take their place if they do come home?

He's a recipient of the nations highest honor for a citizen, the U.S. presidential medal of freedom.
When America's involvement in World War II began, he tried to enlist but was rejected due to an old football injury, he was 34, and he was married, father of four status. He was so dejected he even flew to Washington to ask to be allowed to join the Navy - but was turned down. Since he couldn't fight abroad, he decided to do his part at home, and dedicated himself to the war effort by making inspirational war films.
To all Americans, he became the true symbol of the American fighting man. Duke fought against Communism in his own backyard. In the 1940s he was one of the most notable stars to come out against the communist conspiracy in Hollywood.

Let's say you vote for a Senator to represent you. The Senator is asked to cast a vote on an extremely important issue. You do not have the information, advice or all the facts on this issue making it impossible for you to make an informed decision. Would you expect your Senator to cast his vote based on what the majority is on an opinion poll of this issue or cast his vote based on what is the best decision based on the information he has, even if it was not the most popular choice in the opinion poll. What is the right expectation?

The libertarian party is ready willing and able to restore our government to you and me by taking it away form the circus that we call government now. The two party system is outdated and carries too much dirty laundry to be effective. Would you like to see tighter border security and less welfare? Would you like to hold real money backed by gold and silver? Would you like to only have to pay minimal interest on the purchase of a new home instead of paying for it twice before it becomes yours? It's up to you. Vote third paty or libertarian for restoration of our government, freedoms and money. The two party system has to go. Watch the movie "V For Vendetta" to understand what libertarians stand for. You will not be disappointed.

"The People" have no set social security retirement. Ours is dependent on the contributions we and our employers make. Our government reps/sen have a monthly retirement we would all love to have and do not contribute to social security. If social security is good enough for "the people" it should be good enough for the people we elect to represent us. Had the government deducted ss from all our reps, and they had to invest/save etc as we do, our ongoing retirement debt would not be so high, and there would be alot more money in social security.

My brother is considering a career as a police officer. If you have been through a police academy or training and are now an officer, can you elaborate on what the typical police training is like, as far as breaking out the types of classes you took and physical and combat training you had. Our local department has a 6 month police training program. Thank you in advance.

George Bush President of the United States is a man who has flushed all honor and integrity down the toilet. He has spread shame on America, it's Constitution, and it's People. It is a highly embarrassing situation for every Good American. This Man has spun completely out of control and he needs to be stopped immediately. President Bush has discounted himself to nothing more then a mere "War Criminal."

OK so they are saying how green they are. Well shipping by train (or truck), or someone’s limo is a lot greener than “air freight”. They seem very proud of the fact they have been flying the dead weight of those statues all over the country. Real green? Real “carbon neutral”? Thanks Hollywood (hypocrites).

Now in iraq and modern war the soldiers must call in to see if they can return fire. My friends brother was in the army and they were driving along and bam a carbomb hit. They were in a town and being fired at. Their humvey was flipped over. They called in for permission to return fire and the answer was no. They had to sit there and get shot. The reason the answer was no was they were in a town. Now years ago like in previous wars they didnt have to sit there and just get shot. Is this messed up?
