When you see your buddies killed or wounded for reasons that defy logic, you begin to question the rational of the leadership. There were many German soldiers and officers who questioned their leadership in the Second World War, and history will have serious questions to ask about this administration. It seems likely that Bush will be one of the lowest rated presidents in our history, primarily due to his failure to recognize the problems his invasion of Iraq has created.

The only reason 60 minutes ran the piece on the soldiers speaking out about the war is to make money, it was also competing with the Oscars for ratings, so they had to come up with stories that would bring in ratings. The war is a very unpopular for sure, and having some soldiers speak out about their unhappiness would lure people to watch that piece. How would the ratings be affected if they ran a piece of Soldiers in Iraq, who do support the war, and feel they are there for a cause. Probably not bring much interest, and hence less money for CBS. I think the real embarrasment in the whole matter is even with that piece being run on 60 minutes, soldiers speaking out, etc, the Oscars had much better ratings, I think that really shows what the American public feels about the war.

Actually if you look at how many soldiers are speaking out against the war, it's 1/10 of 1% of soldiers fighting in the war. The majority of people in the military are for the war and don't want to pull out. If they pull out now, it defeats the purpose of them being there and makes all their work pointless. You would embolden the enemy (not that you guys aren't doing that already) by showing them that we do not have the guts to stand up to a bunch of lunatic fanatics. Stop complaining! The majority of the Democrats were in favor of the war when it first began and now you all are changing your minds. Why is that? Do you think that wars are fought in a week? It takes time. The only reason why it's taking longer is because you guys are making us fight a pc war. Just get off the military's back and let them do their jobs!

Nancy(or Jazmin whoever you are) when will you look at all the evidence? 60 Minutes has produces a few(and very few) to speak out. Both parties on Congress voted by a large majority to allow military action against Iraq. Congress is capable of calling any Executive Order issued by the President under review. It has not been done. Why? They know everything he has done is technically within the legality of his office. Trust me, the Democrats in Congress are looking to exact payback for the Clinton Impeachment and would take advantage of any opportunity to get it.
(Go ahead - report me again)

Rather than blindly following a biased media report determined to bash both Bush and the War on Terror, why don't you visit a base and talk with the soldiers?
I have. Both Ft. Stewart in Georgia, and Ft. Knox in Kentucky.
What's wrong, afraid about what you might hear? Afraid to learn that your "unbiased" media is presenting you with a very biased version of reality?
Go ahead, give it a go. What have you got to lose?

Nancy, that 60 minute piece does not represent all of our troops. I found it very interesting that no questions were asked them as to why they felt the way they did about the war. Also, keep in mind that CBS is the same people that put out forged documents, and called them proof. Nancy, do you have any proof of your claims about President Bush? If you want, you can email me that "proof". War criminal? Really? I wasn't aware that Bush had been charged with war crimes? Please show me your proof on that, Nancy?

I agree 100% with you... But aslong as the puppets continue to follow the puppet master then nothing will change. Unless we get less puppets sort to speak. Bush does not understand what leading america means. He only understands one or maybe 2 things. Greed and running the nation in the ground..

Is there a question in there?
This is an anti-Bush, anti-American diatribe. What exactly did you hope to discover with this post? You'll get a dozen or so "Yeah...right on!" pseudo-answers and then you'll pick the one that seems most appreciative of your POV.
And we will have accomplished what?
OK liberal sheep...Thumbs-down bombs away!!!
