If you're thinking about the blessings of liberty part in the preamble, that's not a reference to god. the word blessings is not referring to God.

The constitution contains NO references to God.

And to the person above me, that was added in the 1950's by Joe McCarthy. It is not in the Constitution. Try reading the constitution once. It'll do you good.

It has often been seen on the Internet that to find God in the Constitution, all one has to do is read it, and see how often the Framers used the words "God," or "Creator," "Jesus," or "Lord." Except for one notable instance, however, none of these words ever appears in the Constitution, neither the original nor in any of the Amendments. The notable exception is found in the Signatory section, where the date is written thusly: "Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven". The use of the word "Lord" here is not a religious reference, however. This was a common way of expressing the date, in both religious and secular contexts

I do not believe there is any reference to God in the constitution. There is nothing in the constitution either that says "separation of church and state."

There is a mention to God in the Declaration of Independence however. This is a far better document. For while the constitution advocated power, especially collective or centralized power, the declaration was a rejection of power.

Why is everyone so scared of God ? We have to apologize to the world if we say anything bad about mohammad / allah / islam, but God is open market. Shame on us. I sure wish those dam right wing Christians would stop blowing them self up in our malls so they can get those 7 luxury cars.

You must mean Article 7, where it says, "in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven,"?

She is nowhere to be found in the US constitution.

She never was supposed to be a part of the US, except as a private and individual choice. That's why freedom if religion is ingrained that document.
