I help put Clinton into office by voting for Ross. I'm not likely to do that again unless the polls show a 3rd party has a good chance at winning!!!

Yeah, I'm pro-Libertarian! I may not be a card carrying Libertarian but my ideology is moderate Libertarian and I believe in following the LP platform in a moderate way in some issues. The duopoly is going through a time of change. I really agree that we need to open our party system up and create a multi-party system that creates strong and viable parties instead of celebrity parties. I'm totally for tighter border security and less welfare (by reducing the size of the gov't, people like the old, retired, disabled and poor should receive basic services and not leave them totally out of the equation). Money backed by gold and silver? I don't see why not since we used this up until the mid-60s I believe. OK, not all welfare is bad. I'd leave it up to each one of you if you want to give money in charities but the gov't should have a small but effective role too if many Americans want to see a development of libertarianism. I've been supporting the idea of a Paul/Tancredo ticket for the Libertarians and Constitutionalists to field a unity ticket. Paul is well-liked in both parties and Tancredo is admired by the CP. However, I've been looking at some LP candidates like Phillies and Kubby and they have very good ideas too. I'm already decided to vote 3rd party or Libertarian in 08 and will vote for giving our country back its freedoms and against illegal immigration. Thanks!

If you watch the two parties in control, you see that they do everything possible to make sure that a third party does not appear with power. Look how both attached the third party that appeared several elections ago. Both parties attached it rather than each other for the fear of letting it get a toe hold and weakening them. I think this country needs a third, fourth and maybe fifth to help the country understand that there is more to choose from than the two loose-rs we get anymore. They are loose-rs because they have come to power through bribes and taking care of big donors, they do not care for the public. If you do not raise at least a 1/2 billion dollars you can not win the vote any more. This takes big business money and rich money to do this not the common voter.

IT will take years of strong candidates to ever have a 3rd party elected. However, I think a 3rd party for '08 would be a good year to start. Reps aren't putting anything up with a chance to restore what Bush destroyed. And Obama and Hillary (which I don't have a problem with) really for whatever have a lot of enemies. Go Libertarian party!!!
If you have to have a party, that is the best one. Why can't we get back to not having parties? Let's let people run against people. Let's let the electoral college vote ina ratio like their citizens vote. Why have a 51-49 vote get 100% of the votes one way?

I would be willing to vote for a 3rd party with a good foundation. However!
I recoil from your propaganda pitch. You are promising a better country and slinging mud like the others. You have already joined the circus, it's 3rd ring.
Another Perspective, I;m with you on voting for non parties. Lets vote for a person instead of a group. A person who can lead.

While I'm not in love with the two party dominance in politics I also feel that if the libertarians had anything to offer they would already be in power. If you think Vendetta has any meaningful content to offer you place too much importance on the entertainment media.

If it comes all the way down to Hillary and McCain it may desire to be the sole Presidential election i've got in no way voted in. No, i'm unlikely to vote Libertarian or for any of the different third social gathering opportunities. There are nonetheless some months to pass till now I flow that bridge however. it could come all the way down to which one i think of would be waiting to end the least with the congress that they are going to could desire to artwork with. it is often an option for my determination. BTW - do no longer low value a nicely-liked 0.33 social gathering candidate. possibly some could desire to pass get a historic past e book and examine the Bull Moose social gathering.
