Because groups like the ACLU and La Razza fight for them to be here. The border patrol agents are not allowed to do their jobs and when private citizens, such as the Minute Men, try to stand up for their country, they are shot down. Our country is going down the tubes because the government allows these people to walk all over us. And the people who try to do it legally, like you, are ignored. Probably because you don't give some liberal any publicity.

Silly as this is going to sound:
Get your community to sign a petition - involve your local churches, stores, etc. Make your voice and your issue heard. Get your Mayor, Governor, state reps behind you. Let your Congressmen/woman, and Senator know what's going on.
If you have the voting publlic (your community) together, and everyone else up the chain of things know these people are behind you, maybe they'll consider rushing things a bit more.

I'm sorry that those who are doing things the right way (the legal way), have to endure all the bull that goes along with things. :(

Thank you for doing it legally.

Do what they do. Come for a visit, and then never leave. Once you are here the government does nothing to stop you from finding work and staying here. In fact, many employers seek out illegal workers.
A few of them on the job lowers wages and benefits for all the others.

People south of the border come here without problems because they don't bother to get citizenship. Don't give up. You're doing it the right way, unlike those horrible people from the south.

I think sassy has the best advice here. Give her advice a try. I bet it will help. Good luck! Also, I appreciate that you are bringing your wife in legally.

Yeah, immigration laws are really stupid and ridiculous, they should fix them. And I don't think they come here without any problems, even the illegal ones have many problems. It's almost impossible to come to this country..

yes! i know EXACTLY what you mean. We've been trying to get our aunt from the philippines, but no luck so far. It is just not right for people to just HOP the border without any consequences! They just roam around U.S without any greencard whatsoever, then have BABIES and say its not fair for them to leave, because their children are U.S citizens! If you ask me, no ther NOT U.S citizens. It just makes me so mad.

They do have problems, however, not enough to keep them from coming.

Thank you for doing it right and not being here ILLEGALLY.
