I understand why some people want it but I think it should be left up to the establishments to decide on whether or not to allow smoking in their facility. The government is just going to find something else to ban after this.

i am a nonsmoker and i hate smoking bans. I want the business to decide wether they want smoking. If i dont like it i decide with my money. If others did that instead of crying to big brother the businesses would change thereselves just to pack there pockets

Maryland is a LIBERAL state. When you (they) elect Liberals, you can expect Liberal policies. Anti-smoking (thank-God) is a Liberal Policy, Sorry. The is even an ad in RNR with 3 Baltimore bars begging the state to make a state-wide ban, they say they want a level playing field, that the ban is good but they won't do it on their own.

Yes the government and the "do gooders" will go after something next.

Yes it should be left up to the establishment.

No I don't smoke. I quit because it was more trouble to smoke than it was worth.

Thanks do gooders...and I mean that...I can breath now.

so far it was up to the establishments to make the rules. did it work? don't think so. We need to ban smoking where ever we can.
