That depends on who or what your loyal to. If you help the enemy in a time of war, that is freedom of speech not patriotism.

If your loyal to the country, and that country is at war, and you sensationalize, or exaggerate the losses of the country, with no account of the enemies loss then, you are not a patriot.

Patriotism is not about or equal to blind loyalty. Patriotism is about fighting for what you believe, Risking your very life on the line for that belief, and to be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for that belief, and love of country.

Frankly I am a little sick and tired of politicians using and cheapening the term - case in point Pelosi is not a Patriot.

No Patriotism is supporting our soldiers, but at the same time you can disagree with the governments reason for taking us to war. That is what makes us a Democracy. It was the people who stopped the Viet Nam War not the Politicians. You always want to remember big business gets rich off of war at the price of losing our young soldiers.Big Business is who donates the majority of the money to get these crooked politicians get reelected.

Patriotism equates to logic and deductible reasoning with intelligence. Blind loyalty; in itself is brutal with all sorts of flaws. Always question authority; its called keeping it real.

No..... blind loyalty is NOT patriotism. Loyalty is patriotic, but not done blindly.
