Army Sergeant First Class (E-7) (Retired)

If you retired as a result of medical prior to your 20 year point, you still need BUPERS approval prior to reenlistment, even if in a different service. If you retired with 20, then you are past high year tenure, and means that you are at least 36 years old, and therefore would require a waiver to even reenlist in another service. I recommend talking to a recruiter, but I'd say it doens't look good for the home team.

If you are retired E-6 then you should know what you want to do. You have been around the military long enough to know.

What are you doing retiring as an E-6 for anyway??? Wow!!
