That explains a lot. They were taught what to think instead of how to think for themselves.

Two thirds of the troops disapprove of the way the war in Iraq is being handled, and the same two thirds also disapprove of Bush in general;

So much for the theory of troops being staunch republicans......

Vietnam again? You must realize that even your puppet government will not be able to give you victory, not any more than your puppets in South East Asia did.

I have a drug possession charge that I would like to work off to clean my record. I was able to contact the narcotics division that has jurisdiction over my case and spoke with an investigator. He stated that he would work with me and drop the charge if I purchased dope from local dealers. When I asked if C.I.s are safe he stated that C.Is are the departments liability but that on occasion there are "accidents." WIth that he sent me on my way with a packet of paperwork that explains the process. The problem is I cant understand "lawyerize." Can someone explain the complications that I will encounter? Also I am required to contact the investigator everyday for two weeks and I was given a dollar bill that I have to return to him at the end of the two weeks.
Anyone know why?

Taj Mahal is a place that every foreigner wants to see when he or she visits India. When he visits area surrounding Taj he sees a different world. Borcken roads, central channel, buffaloes roaming every where, beggers, flowing sewage etc. Have Indians lost their self pride, can't they decorate 1 square km area around their national monuments. They even dont think what impression the foreign tourists will have for their nation. Have Indians lost their self pride.

as a matter of foreign policy?. Besides, looks as though Iraq welcomes the 'interference'. After all they are right next door to each other. May as well get along. They've already been having talks, for months now. Nothing the U.S. can do about it, as much as Bush wants to. Looks as though the Middle East is seeing the U.S. for what we really are...We use money for influence....but these people don't need our money. They have hundreds of billions of dollars and sit on vast amounts of oil. How I wish for a new president who understands the value of diplomacy......In fact, we need someone like that immediately. Mr.Bush is a Lame Duck from here on out....

The US has the largest stockpile of nuclear and chemical weapons on earth. The US has used nuclear weapons to kill tens of thousands of people people (The A bombs in WW2), and chemical weapons on people (agent orange in Vietnam). Where does the US get the credibility to tell other contries they cannot have weapons of their own?

Is it to make the world safer- or rather to assure America's military superiority?

So the body count in Iraq has been going up faster and faster. Now we find that Britain is scaling back on their troops. Denmark is pulling out all together and Lithuania is talking of leavening. And bush states this is a good thing?
Higher body count + allies bailing out = we are winning?
I knew bush had lost touch with the country for the most part but does anyone else worry our commander in chief has lost touch with reality?

In Texas/Dallas county (or USA), Is it against the law to stay by the stop signs/traffic lights and ask for money? There are 3 people here close to my house that they take turn and show up there. I have seen police talking to them. But they showed up next day. What is the law? I do not feel safe. Is that wrong?

I think yes. I hate people assuming I listen to Limbaugh or I am a republican because I support the President and I am anti-abortion. I have seen his website, and I don't agree with him on much.

Is that all the neo-libs can do? Pigeon hole?

A right-wing example of why she and her ilk is not,CANNOT be taken seriously, she said she wished the 9-11 World Trade Center attacks were on the New York Times, a "liberal" newspaper, The Paper Of Record, that has exposed numerous frauds, coverups and misteps by the Bush Administration.

And Ann Coulter wished they were bombed. Why?

Coulter represents the true mindset of many American Conseravtive elitists, do anything to hide facts, bomb even.

And I understand this woman calls herself a "christian"?
