as a matter of foreign policy?. Besides, looks as though Iraq welcomes the 'interference'. After all they are right next door to each other. May as well get along. They've already been having talks, for months now. Nothing the U.S. can do about it, as much as Bush wants to. Looks as though the Middle East is seeing the U.S. for what we really are...We use money for influence....but these people don't need our money. They have hundreds of billions of dollars and sit on vast amounts of oil. How I wish for a new president who understands the value of diplomacy......In fact, we need someone like that immediately. Mr.Bush is a Lame Duck from here on out....

The democrats are always whining and complaining about everything the president does. Can't you people grow some balls for once? What's your idea on how to get the people under Saddam? There's not been a democrat yet to put forth a viable idea on this kind of thing. You only whine about everything and that's why so many hate the stereotypical democrat.

Yes the U.S. meddles in other countries affairs I do not see what Bush is so upset about Iraq and Iran used to be mortal enemies. Maybe it is because of the old Arab belief that " The enemy of my enemy is mt friend"

If you really want to know what is going on with US foreign policy, go to the website http://www.newamericancentury.org . These are the people who are really in control of this nation, and the rest of the free world, and their fascist agenda is thinly veiled in the literature you will find on their site. Including the call for "a new Pearl Harbor" they felt was necessary to advance their agenda.(9/11) This is interesting reading for any American concerned with our country's future.

There is a BIG difference from meddling with the intention to instigate problems now and in the future and there is meddling with the intension to resolve issues and help people protect themselves. You are right on one thing and that is they have a ton of cash but if you know your stuff like you claim to then you would understand that the people are not in control of the money nor their own destiny and therefore need our help. WE ARE NOT THE ONLY COUNTRY THAT SEES THEY NEED HELP. Please from now on ask question that at least are intelligent.

You know there are some people that you just can't educate and you're one of them! We meddle in world affairs via the UN (as useless as they are). You think that Iraq and Iran have been having talks Without our knowledge or presence of some sort???? How's that kool-aide dude? Diplomacy was tried or have you forgotten that too! How convenient!

Yes, in so much as those affairs adversely effect our security and way of life.. And I am grateful we have a strong enough country and government to do so. I hope our next president doesn't believe that diplomacy will work with people whose stated purpose is to destroy us.

We meddle in the affairs of other countries to secure our economic self interests. This is why our country has assassinated democratically elected leaders of other countries, funded opposition / terrorists groups that oppose the current standing governments we disagree with, and so on and so forth. We're no different than our enemies, the only thing that separates us is that we have more power currently.

Only WE are allowed to meddle in Iraq. No one else. Just US.

Iran is actively meddling to kill American forces. The US isn't meddling to create carnage, they are meddling to create peace and security.
